Claire Wasserman – Founder, Ladies Get Paid
Claire Wasserman is a fearless, enterprising woman willing to take on the challenge of confronting social taboos. As the founder of Ladies Get Paid – an organization of rockstar women working towards gender equality in the workplace – Wasserman exemplifies what building a strong community is all about. Through monthly town hall style meetings, webinars, and workshops, she unites, strengthens, and empowers many voices of women who may not have otherwise been heard.

Steve Marion – Musician, Delicate Steve
Steve Marion is the multi instrumentalist behind the band, Delicate Steve. The talented musician, who’s signed to David Byrne’s label Luaka Bop, has done several shows in unique spaces, including an abandoned Brooklyn church and a houseboat cruising down the Colorado River. He believes a great sounding venue is just the first step – the space should also make the audience feel something.
Tim McHenry – Director of Programs and Engagement, the Rubin Museum of Art
When we heard about the Rubin Museum of Art’s ‘Sacred Spaces’, an exhibition that explored the connections between space and sacred experiences, we knew we had to meet the man behind it. We caught up with the museum’s Director of Programs and Engagement, Tim McHenry, to dive deeper into the concept, discuss the exhibition, and learn more about his own journey towards sacred space.
Eda Bilir-Messner – Owner, Edamama
Eda Bilir-Messner, the owner of a whimsical kids party space in Brooklyn, left the world of advertising to create a space where kids can get a haircut and parents can enjoy themselves. We love her entrepreneurial attitude and admire the courage it took to jump on the opportunity to start her own business. Now, Eda’s space is a local hub for families to hang out, read, have a haircut and enjoy cultural activities.
Michelle Williams – Blogger, Coffee & Champagne
Coffee and Champagne’s Michelle Williams turned her love of food and photography into an awesome career. She photographs and writes about the culinary wonders she’s sampled, discovering New York from a unique, culinary, and cultural point of view. Michelle’s brunch event in our Bowery loft was an opportunity for her to share her cooking style and routine, as well as the concept of Splacer, with fellow food bloggers.
