S

tudios are adored by photographers, designers, and planners alike. These spaces can be easily transformed and are highly malleable, giving any creative the ability to make his or her dreams a reality. In the cold and grey weather that is characteristic of the holiday season, studios still maintain their light, refreshing, uplifting, and airy vibe. The possibilities are truly endless. Find a studio that has enough room to fit not only the guests you invite, but decorations, furniture, food, and drinks as well. It doesn’t need to be enormous, but do take size into consideration.

Our Multi-Purpose Photo Studio has breathtaking photography lighting that can easily be adjusted. Adjustable lighting is perfect when transforming spaces, as it allows each user to control how bright or dim it is in the space. When hosting a holiday event, the mood can naturally be set by implementing a specific type of lighting. With ample room on studio walls, you can easily add holiday lights as well. Studios give you the freedom to experiment with neon lights and animated light displays, while also providing the space and opportunity to display more traditional lighting in yellow and white tones. Displaying holiday lighting (that is generally characteristic of outdoor displays) inside a studio will easily add an eclectic, unexpected touch to your event.

If you want to decorate but don’t want to overpower, definitely consider giving a space a natural touch. Bringing greenery into a simple studio accentuates decor that may otherwise go unnoticed, such as a wooden bench and neutral coloring. Add evergreens, shrubbery, smaller succulents, wreaths, and the like for a minimal yet noticeable effect. Another unique way of implementing plants is framing and hanging them on walls like paintings. Check out this awesome technique on our Pinterest board.

The decor in this Ivory Chelsea Loft and Gallery only features hues of white, red, and brown; still, every aspect of the space is displayed and executed perfectly for the holiday season. Choosing particular colors will make decorating much easier – simply choose pieces that fall into your preferred color scheme and go from there. Pick romantic, rich jewel tones of red, green, blue, and violet  to add drama, or use just a touch of color for a daytime setting.

Feature holiday-inspired/wintry decor at your event. Companies such as The MP Shift and Rent Patina strive to help individuals style interiors in a way that reflects their brand and purpose of their event. A winter event shouldn’t be decorated with vibrant, beachy items. Make careful choices in the pieces you choose so that the way you style your event matches its theme. Our natural, tranquil Meditation Studio is decorated minimally and peacefully, reflecting the aura of the venue while still using wintry neutrals.
