How does Splacer work for event organizers?

Event organizers can browse listings and filter spaces by size, location, event-type, or general keyword. Once users find a space they like, they can connect with the host to receive additional information. Users can also search "Friends of Splacer" for production services and equipment.

How does Splacer work for space owners?

Space owners can sign up by entering some basic information about the space, its location, and their contact info. After being approved by the Splacer team, they can then add more information about the space, upload pictures, and select the types of events that are welcome in their space. When an event organizer contacts a space owner, they can reply with further information about availability and prices. The space owner is responsible for making sure the space is use-ready before every event. Splacer will handle payment processing, and all other backend details to guarantee a safe and secure exchange all around.

How is Splacer different from other platforms?

Unlike other online event platforms, Splacer curates its spaces. That is, all spaces are reviewed by the Splacer team, ensuring only genuinely unique spaces end up on the platform.

Do I have to pay to be listed?

No. listing your space is absolutely free. Splacer only charges a commission when an event is booked. We only make money if you make money.
