Welcome to an urban oasis on the top floor of a historic Sylvan Building in South Downtown, the heart of Atlanta’s re-envisioned Hotel Row. Built in 1908, the former Sylvan Hotel was fully restored in 2022, maintaining all of its Southern charm while adding modern amenities. Our open and flexible floor plan features abundant natural light, exposed brick and original beams throughout, with views of the downtown skyline and nearby attractions. Inside is a sunset lounge, custom built library, oversized boardroom, collaborative, coworking and office space furnished in contemporary style. Off the elevator or stairs, you'll notice Vestaboard smart messaging display, four 50-inch, flat screen smart TVs. The space is ADA compliant with 2 gender-neutral restrooms. Ohio River South provides the perfect venue for a variety of events and occasions, both professional or social. Grove North is fully appointed, with two King beds, three Queen, and four smart TVs throughout. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a beautiful meal, and then you can decide to eat indoors or al fresco on the covered porch. The three large porches run the width of the house, providing even more spaces for gathering and relaxing. And multiple workspaces and fast wifi speeds ensure you'll be productive during your stay.

As entrepreneurs, we originally designed our home to host our own business retreats, but over time, friends kept begging to use it for their own team meetings and dinners. So we figured, why not let other groups enjoy it as well! The living room, dining room, conversation area, kitchen and sunroom are all open and allow for collective conversation as well as the ability to split into small groups. The dining table opens up to seat 12, but we've used folding tables on the end to allow for even larger groups. We also have a built in projector that is connected to our Apple TV and projects to a large blank wall. Guests are welcome to connect their computers directly to the projector (via a provided HDMI cable) or through the Apple TV or a Chromcast stick. Our outdoor dining area offers a dream kitchen with a griddle, an XL grill, a double burner and 2 warming drawers. We even have a Dutch oven station for the outdoorsy campers out there! Our outdoor table can seat 16 people when pushed together but can also divide into 2 tables accommodating 12 and 8 people. Up under a draping tree is our amazing fire pit. There are 8 dedicated adirondack chairs around it, but there is space for an additional 4 chairs. Do people leave immediately after your meetings? You will find that our home offers such a warm and inviting environment, that people will linger and talk far longer than anticipated. Even the quietest introvert in your group!
