This space is simply stunning. It’s a modern, comfortable and architecturally significant venue perfect for anything from strategic off-sites to personal growth retreats. The “inside out” Frank Lloyd Wright influenced Eichler architecture inspires both creativity and contemplation. The open plan kitchen with counter seating is perfect for caterers and for cooking demonstrations. Caterers and private chefs love it for making and displaying their menus. A rustic, repurposed barn plank table seats 12 comfortably. There are two living room areas plus a large office and an interior atrium that work beautifully as breakout rooms as well. There is also a lovely table with umbrella for 8 in the garden for meeting outside or dining alfresco. The space is fully equipped for electronic presentations and high-speed Wi-Fi. Beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens create even more natural gathering spots with outdoor seating, soothing fountains and a new, three-hole putting green with an area for putting contests and (whiffle ball) chipping challenges. Welcome to our house. We happily rent it out for film production and photo shoots. Our house is a traditional home with a varied style. There’s both a mix of antiques and new furniture. You’ll find interior barn doors and an old red wall dial phone. Overall, the feeling is both warm and inviting, comfortable, and updated. Our front parlor gives the impression of stepping back in time. The gourmet kitchen is colorful, bright and whimsical. Upstairs we have three bedrooms. We’ve lived in our house for 25 years and my husband’s love of gardening shows. In 2020 we updated our backyard with a patio area that has a fire pit table, chairs, a sun umbrella and a garden shed. In July 2023 we remodeled our whole garage from top to bottom. We're minutes away from freeways, restaurants and shopping. There's street parking and a dead end cul de sac just 200 feet away. The Basics Style - Two story house SQ FT - 1896 Lot size - 5,500 SQ FT #Bedrooms - 3 #Bathrooms - 2 ½ Built in 1956 Remodeled in 2011 City - Santa Clara State - California Exterior Features-The front yard has a mature Magnolia tree, green grass and lots of flowers. Front porch has Craftsman-style columns. The backyard has green grass, lots of flowers, fruit trees, meditation garden, fountain, trellises, redwood deck, hot tub, and a vegetable garden. The house was remodeled in 2011. The gourmet kitchen is a joy to cook in. The island is a beautiful walnut with it's own sink. The countertops are done in granite. A focal point is the 48” professional burgundy stove/ovens with a whimsical flower backsplash. There are white cabinets and hardwood flooring. The windows and french doors open up to the lush backyard. The kitchen and dining areas are 375 SQ FT. General Rules No adult filming No smoking Heavy furniture can only be moved with prior owner approval. Please use coasters on all wooden furniture and on the fire pit table. All events must be over and cleaned up by 10 p.m. due to neighborhood noise curfews. Pets on the premises with prior owner approval. No standing or sitting on the walnut island. Our cats will be shut in one of the bedrooms and the door must remain closed. Production insurance is required. Guests must show proof of insurance. If you don't already have insurance you can get it through this site- https://www.theeventhelper.com Guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. You are welcome to move things around in order to get the shot with the look that you're after. Please take pictures first so that you can put things back as you found them. If it's really large furniture or fragile then please check in with me first. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours.
San Jose Location: This space can suit many types of needs, from business to creative to celebratory. Full rental is available, and includes our quality sound-system, but if you prefer a more intimate space, you can reserve the mezzanine (loft) separately. We welcome all event-types! There is both outdoor and indoor seating, and a study room/atrium with natural light. Many people rent out our full space for celebrations or creative events, others choose to rent only the study room/atrium for smaller gatherings or design sprints; you just let us know what you need. This location does have a noise ordinance, and free street parking is available. The guest ADU unit is in the back of the property and used to be an external garage. Yes, there is a long driveway to the ADU. The backyard is enclosed by double gates, a fence, and the main house. The front yard and the backyard are exquisitely manicured. To top it all off there is a white picket fence in front of the house which has a wooden gate that invites you in! p.s. Your privacy is important to us. All rooms have shades. We also have a shoji screen in case you need to be private about your project.

We have WiFi, a 75 inch flat screen TV, a humongous chalk board, 2 large Whiteboards, Flipcharts, a Nespresso Coffee Machine for complimentary coffee, teapot and a large assortment of teas, complimentary drinks in a fridge, Apple TV, turntable with a tidy collection of really cool LPs.
