Our facility is 2,000 sq ft w/ 15 foot ceilings, designed not only record an orchestra, but also as a creative space to host photo shoots, film screenings, intimate live performances, or VIP listening parties. We are a classic, large-format big room, analog and digital recording studio nestled in South Williamsburg. This hand-built space features Protools HD 32 I/O, 2 inch Studer A827 24 track analog tape machine, a fully restored Harrison 4032c 40-channel analog recording console (same series the Thriller album was recorded on), a baby grand Yamaha piano, an impressive mic collection, and more. Please note while our usual people cap is much higher, we have temporarily capped count at 10 -15 people as per our new COVID-19 protocols to ensure proper social distancing. We have many other measures in place to continue hosting safe productions at our space, including new cleaning / sanitization protocols, placement of HEPA air filters, private testing options with fast turnarounds, etc. Note, use of our control room is now only permitted for special circumstances and for an additional fee. We are also a fantastic space for off-site meetings. Our beautiful pre-war machine shop in the heart of Williamsburg showcases 1920s’ chic decor, exposed brick and soaring ceilings. This listing is for the entire building which includes the first floor gallery, second floor vintage loft, and roof deck. The loft visually immerses you in nostalgia with its vintage furniture and classic speakeasy vibe. The lovingly renovated interior of original wood and reclaimed metal, with 15-ft ceilings and custom art pieces make a stunning, camera-ready setting for film, photo shoots, or special events. A 24-person capacity private roof deck provides day and nighttime options for outside activities. The street-level gallery offers a crisp white-brick gallery space with neutral gray concrete floors and walls stretching 15 ft in height - ready to display art or host modern vows. Our flexible space can host your conference, launch party, film or photo shoot, wedding or reception. This is an eccentric and aesthetically rich artists loft and a bit of Williamsburg history. Established in 1989, Our open plan loft boasts a sunny southern wall of windows beneath 12ft ceilings where a vast, carefully curated collection of oddities both diverse & prodigious begs the eye to wander. From the walls of antique tools & implements, to hand-crafted vintage furniture, decorative and fine art objects, and taxidermy, it's a collection of collections and an experience not to be missed. Natural light shines on a garden platform with a wicker sofa, wood statuary and a jungle of plants.  The spacious living room area features a long red velvet couch under our iconic tool display, a throne, a fainting couch as well as a large low coffee table. The back section of the loft has a wall of mirrors, a glass cabinet wall showcasing shelves full of oddities, a collection of antique cash registers and candelabras, and a ceiling & wall of beautiful reclaimed tin. The lavatory features a river stone floor, an antique claw foot tub with copper shower enclosure as well as an apothecary collection from the the early nineteen hundreds. In the Conservatory, which is just off the main room through tall double doors, a working 1913 Chickering stand-up piano sits beneath a gallery of historic and contemporary works of art including a collection of nineteenth century family portraits watching over our library of select books. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a wall display of vintage kitchen implements, a refrigerator collaged with 1940s envelopes, and several glass cabinets of various eras.

The museum permanent collection room offers an intimate setting with a unique "cabinet of curiosities" ambiance ideal for photography or film shoots. The back yard features a bar, stage, and screen for projection. It has a casual "neighborhoody" feel with lots of classic Brooklyn character while still being a raw space perfect for creative DIYers.

Our 1490 sq.ft. studio is available for photo, video & audio productions as well as showroom use and special events. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn and boasting soaring ceilings that fill the space with copious amounts of natural light, the studio serves as a chic neutral canvas inviting you to bring your creative vision to life. This all white open loft features a 15 ft high beamed ceiling, stainless steel kitchen and a mosaic tiled bathroom with freestanding bath. We also offer a sound studio for audio and pod recordings as well brand new photography equipment available for hire. The studio is located on the first floor of a pre-war building with freight elevator use requested upon booking. There is easy street parking and a great selection of restaurants within walking distance.

The studio features one large, completely private room which is fully furnished, lit, and decorated. DAYLIGHT This studio has NO windows! ...But the photo shows a large windowed balcony?! It's a light box built into the wall for photo shoots. It looks and feels like sunlight streaming through the doors when it's on, but it's an illusion. Regardless of the actual time of day, the light in the room is controllable, from bright daylight to a subdued evening glow. RECORDING SOUND? It's a new space, and so far has been quiet enough for recording clean audio. That said, we are not a sound stage and can't guarantee that there won't be occasional sounds from the hallway, or a random car horn. GIANT FABRIC HEART Due to its fragile nature, this prop may only be handled for an additional fee of $35/day. STUDIO EQUIPMENT Don't lug your C-Stands around!
