New York | Bushwick$200 per hour50Designed and built as an experiment in the possibilities of loft living, surreality and commercial space, The Love Shack is one open main space with other small spaces inside the two human-size dollhouses, creating a unique Alice in Wonderland magical experience. In this unique loft conversion almost every piece of furniture you see is an original design or an antique that has been heavily modified and restored. Max capacity 50 standing, no more than 40 recommended. Casual seating around the space for up to 25, including the possibility of a formal dining setup for 10. (Alternatively, folding table and chairs may be brought in to seat 20 for dinner parties.) Full working kitchen. Sound system connects directly to your phone or computer via headphone jack or Bluetooth. HD video projection on to 7ft x 4ft screen via HDMI, Thunderbolt or Display Port from your laptop or phone. Three friendly cats remain on premises but our Alen Breathesmart Air Purifier runs 24/7, eliminating dander from the air. Allergens have never posed a problem. They can also be kept in the Blue Egyptian room for the duration of the event - or boarded off site (at an additional fee) if preferred. Renter must book all time needed in the space, from setup to cleanup. $500-$1000 security deposit (varies by type of rental) will be held separately and refunded 24 hours following event, pending no damages or overtime. New York | Williamsburg$350 per hour50This is an eccentric and aesthetically rich artists loft and a bit of Williamsburg history. Established in 1989, Our open plan loft boasts a sunny southern wall of windows beneath 12ft ceilings where a vast, carefully curated collection of oddities both diverse & prodigious begs the eye to wander. From the walls of antique tools & implements, to hand-crafted vintage furniture, decorative and fine art objects, and taxidermy, it's a collection of collections and an experience not to be missed. Natural light shines on a garden platform with a wicker sofa, wood statuary and a jungle of plants. The spacious living room area features a long red velvet couch under our iconic tool display, a throne, a fainting couch as well as a large low coffee table. The back section of the loft has a wall of mirrors, a glass cabinet wall showcasing shelves full of oddities, a collection of antique cash registers and candelabras, and a ceiling & wall of beautiful reclaimed tin. The lavatory features a river stone floor, an antique claw foot tub with copper shower enclosure as well as an apothecary collection from the the early nineteen hundreds. In the Conservatory, which is just off the main room through tall double doors, a working 1913 Chickering stand-up piano sits beneath a gallery of historic and contemporary works of art including a collection of nineteenth century family portraits watching over our library of select books. The kitchen is fully equipped featuring a wall display of vintage kitchen implements, a refrigerator collaged with 1940s envelopes, and several glass cabinets of various eras.

I bought the house in 1996 and completely renovated it in 2003. It's surrounded by lush community gardens on three sides so it's truly an oasis in the city. The house is spectacular - striking modern, industrial design, and high ceilings and skylight inside; outside a patio garden with a pergola which is illuminated with fairy lights at night. There is also a BBQ in the garden and a table that seats 6 with an extra 8 chairs. The living room has a dining room table which seats 8 that can also be used as a work space. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and bar seating for 5 as well as banquette seating for an additional 5. Central air and wifi. Local street parking is easy to find. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 additional bathrooms that can be rented out for an extra fee. The space is perfect for off-site work related events such as brainstorming groups, as well as baby showers, cocktail parties, and photo and film shoots.

Perched at the edge of a pristine creek and ancient dam of hand-laid stone, the home's grand spaces, dramatic details, and expansive aura are as enchanting as the landscape surrounding it. A cathedral-like kitchen features polished concrete floors, a wood-fired pizza oven, and a two-story wall of skyscraper glass framing views of the brook, gazebo, sweeping lawns, apple trees, and barn. French doors lead to a grand covered porch suspended over the water's edge, and the waterfall's cascading rhythms fill the cavernous great room and master suite. Original cast-iron beds and wavy glass windows adorn all sleeping quarters, and vintage farmhouse furnishings abound throughout. OCCUPANCY BREAKDOWN: Dinner party for 12 around kitchen table, for 24 if dining al fresco around the covered porch dining tables. 35 people for interior cocktail party, more if extended to outdoor living areas (such as covered porch).
