The Space

Our building is a huge 24,000 sq. ft. studio and stage in Downtown Los Angeles. We are dedicated to providing support for all things related to PHOTO + VIDEO + FILM + EVENT Production. Spanning 2 beautiful old industrial buildings in the heart of the city from the 1940′s, our renovations maintain the original character and and texture of the space while offering all the amenities and tools for any kind of production. Our creative studios are dedicated to providing support for all things related to photo, video, and film production. Founded in 2011, we pride ourselves on being a space for creators, curated by creators. We have dedicated countless hours to make the space as film-friendly as possible, with lighting grids, industry-standard power supplies, and meeting areas built in. It features a cyc wall, 4 adjustable lighting grids**, total blackout ability, exterior spaces, vanity rooms, multiple lounge areas, art department mill/scene shop, ample truck loading, drive-in ability, production supplies and sets. AC and Heating now available! (Yes, we have it all.) Message us to set up a scout! Read below for more details. Parking: Free onsite parking, Paid onsite parking, Free street parking, Nearby parking lot. We have a fair amount of community street parking (30+ cars) and temporary + shoot-length parking inside the space for trucks to offload. We also have an overflow lot available for rental from a film-friendly neighbor. Electricity: We have 220 amp lunchboxes attached to an independent circuit. We also have extra power supplies for additional power usage if needed from further circuits. The circuit breaker can be accessed. Sound: This is a warehouse in an industrial zone. Noise can be heard from the street sometimes and this should not be considered a soundstage. However, there is very little ambient noise at night. Crew access: Ground Floor Equipment loading description: There is a loading zone by our elephant doors which can be backed up to by truck. We also have loading ramps that can be used with a liftgate. Staging area is available: Green Room Loft, Vanity Room, & Mobile Vanity Rooms Some outdoor areas are on private property and would require a separate release for shooting. We also have a private woodshop onsite which is off-limits for all purposes except to authorized personnel. We have ample outdoor areas for shooting including an abandoned train track with a graffiti wall that you may use in addition to the warehouse stage itself. Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed. There are some additional fees for use of the following amenities: AC & Heating Units (2 Available): $250 per day Cyc Repaint: $300 Cleaning Fee (Only incurred if not returned to normal state*): $500 **Our lighting grids are a courtesy for you to use as you wish. Please bring your own motorized lighting / rigging grid if anyone on your team prefers.

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

A cleaner is hired between bookings. Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning. High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected. Before each booking: Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space. Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances. Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Cyc Repaint Fee: $300 AC/Heating Units (2 available): $250 per Day Cleaning Fee (If not returned to normal state*): $500 *We’re a small team that works hard to cater to all of our clients’ needs and respect the neighborhood. If the studio is not returned as it was found, a cleaning fee will be incurred. To avoid fee (brooms, mops, and dust pans provided) floors swept must remove trash no overflowing dumpsters bathrooms tidy liquids or oils, such as smoke machine or car oil, must be cleaned up studio parking and driving areas must be cleared
