A MAGICAL ECO RETREAT ABOVE THE CLOUDS No neighbors, no noise, pure nature. A dreamy airstream above the clouds with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Pacific ocean. This eco-space is perched on 12 acres of untouched sprawling nature, and redesigned by a nature-lover himself into a large studio with two warm and cozy queen beds fit for four. The three large frameless glass panels of the airstream slide open to reveal a huge deck and a private stunning view of the Santa Monica Mountains. With pillows perfect for lounging, you might end up wanting to spend every minute outside on the expansive deck. What about the neighbors? There are none, it’s all-natural forest! Amenities include a kitchenette, fridge, fresh eco bamboo sheets, an outdoor cinema & a soaring swing facing the ocean, a rustic piano fit for a romantic serenade, a wood tub as well as an outdoor spa area nestled around a tree trunk outfitted with a massage table, and a fully outdoor bathroom with a full shower & eco-toilet with zero water waste.  For perfect shade on a sunny day, the Airdream has a large eucalyptus pergola, as well as a full-sized authentic tipi that sleeps two additional guests in two separate single beds — bringing the capacity to a total of six nature-lovers on the Airdream lot.  A variety of wellness services are also available to you right at the AirDream — from shamanic heart-opening ceremonies & magical wellness treatments (massages, therapies, and more) to romantic set-ups for a lover’s stay, custom retreat itineraries for small groups, as well as recommendations for local sights & sounds. Oh, and just when you thought it couldn’t get more magical, the sun will begin to set, dousing everything in gorgeous golden light. So make sure not to miss the breathtaking sunset off the deck, and to take in the stars across the night sky.  The space is fully sustainable, eco-friendly, and entire solar panel-powered. We have essentially recreated an authentic shamanic experience just 30 minutes from LAX, providing an altogether unique experience reminiscent of the Amazon without the travel. So instead of booking yet another 5-star hotel, consider the AirDream Malibu for your precious life's greatest moments — engagements, honeymoons, special occasions, and those who like experiencing the best that there is in life!  NEED TO KNOW: There is no reception inside the airstream and limited reception throughout the rest of the AirDream Malibu property. Feel free to disconnect from the world during your stay if you so wish. The electricity to the property is solar-powered, so be sure to not overuse it as it may take a while to recharge on a cloudy day. There is a short dirt road leading up to the Airdream which adds a little spice to the off-road experience but do prepare to drive up to it, you do not need an SUV.  Please don’t book the AirDream if you’re afraid of sleeping somewhere remote, afraid of nature, expect a 100% bug free environment, or aren’t willing to take a short walk outside to the restroom or shower. You are literally surrounded by thousands of untouched acres of wildlife, which means serenity and grounding, as well as a few mosquitoes or bugs or even a mouse or a rattlesnake. The temperature inside the airstream is comfortable all year round —  should you need there is a heater, cozy blankets, and a quality fan for your comfort. Fires are strictly forbidden due to Malibu’s sensitive history with forest fires. This means no candles, fire pits, barbecues. You are more than welcome to use any battery-powered items. LOCATION & THINGS TO DO: The airstream sits perched on the edge of one of the cliffs along the Malibu coastline about 40 minutes outside of Los Angeles. The site is located at the very top of Topanga Canyon which offers many short and long hikes that you may enjoy. In addition to the customizable add-on’s we provide at the AirDream Malibu, there is a range of things to do nearby. You might consider surfing & soaking up the sun at Topanga Beach, the famous El Matador beach (riddled with one of a kind rock formations), and Zuma beach. Or get your shoes on and hike the scenic Tuna Canyon Trail and any other local hikes of which there are many. Or fine dine at the romantic Inn of the Seventh Ray, the magical Malibu Cafe, the classic & iconic Moonshadows, the beautiful beachside Malibu Farms, the renown & fancy Nobu, among others. HOW TO GET THERE: The nearest major airport is Los Angeles International (LAX), which is located around 40 minutes away by car. We are just a 10-minute drive from the beach. There is not much public transport out of Los Angeles and around Malibu so we highly recommend that you hire a car if you don't have one.
