Art Savvy Apartment

A mixed-media artist who creates works informed by self-definition, cultural identity and the relationship that connects humans and nature. His sculptures and drawings reference the subtle balance between the organic and industrial through the juxtaposition of natural materials like wood and factory-made metal and found materials, creating a hybrid form of recycled fine art. ​Through his exploration, Pacheco provokes a reconsideration of what it means to create socially conscious art that works with rather than against the planet. Pacheco’s art is inspired by and pays homage to the history of the African Diaspora and honors Caribbean heritage, while suggesting the distinctly urban context in which they are created.
