Gatherings hosts a flower shop that caters to walk-in business and also designs for events and weekly accounts. The decor is wonderful Tudor City gothic - slate tile floors, huge french glass windows, sheer white curtains, and a beautiful public garden that is meticulously maintained year-round just across the street. We have views of the water and U.N. just outside our door on one side, and the other side of the shop faces a cul-de-sac that all makes for a very intimate setting.

The Space

We are a retail flower shop with an "C"shape layout, with windows in two full walls offering lots of natural light. The Southwest leg of the store, "or front," contains our flower fridge, as well as two sections of floor raised 7" for a display area, or a stage of sorts. The work tables can be moved into various configurations, maximizing the 10x8' front of the space to suit your event's needs. The Southeast side of the store is an open space, adaptable to parties and event rentals. This rectangular space is roughly 8x4' and can hold a long table and seats for a dinner, meeting or other type of seated gathering. It's also a good potential storage space or staging area if the front of the store is desired as a showroom. The windows offer views out to Tudor Green, which is an open park where we have coordinated parties, engagements, weddings and other extensions of gatherings held at the shop. The windows also afford a view of the East River and the U.N., with stairs that lead to the Robert Moses playground. With slate floors and large panel glass windows, the space has charm and and a classic, romantic feel unique to Tudor and neo-gothic architecture and decor.

Overtime is charged at the rate of time and a half. Set up and break down/clean up time should be built into your rental time. Any time under the rental agreement will not be refunded.
