Dramatic Carriage House for Retreats

I've designed this 1000 sq ft (93 sq m) duplex carriage house to be a comfortable retreat, meeting space or daytime venue amongst the warehouses and creative spaces in Greenpoint. Dramatic steel panels ring the shared courtyard and enclose our carriage house with two terraces, landscaped deck, outdoor wifi, projector setup and speakers. We designed the carriage house to be a private oasis and creative hub that can serve as a multi-use interactive space for your event. You can host a yoga and art retreat over the weekend, teach a cooking class, shoot a video, perform outdoors and even host a presentation. There is a full speaker system and projector available for rent, an outdoor bathroom, and electricity. We offer parking for an additional fee and there is a loading zone and curb cut. As much of the space has been handmade. The staircase, floors, kitchen and outdoor furniture were handcrafted by a local woodworker. The bathrooms are marble and granite, one is a shower and tub while the other is a private shower. There are two large outdoor spaces with tables, chairs and a BBQ available for use. The deck is on the 2nd floor and a covered first-floor front patio. The master bedroom has a queen bed memory foam mattress and walks out on a large deck surrounded by flowers. There tables and benches are handmade and there is a speaker system. A projector may be rented as well with a deposit. The second bedroom has a double / full bed and looks out over the roof of our art studios. There is also a desk, printer and a guitar for the musically inclined. We have tons of instruments and equipment in the soundproofed recording studios that are part of the space. Down the staircase is a large living and dining room with a kitchen set off. A full fridge with dishwasher, gas cooktop and pots, pans and utensils. We also have a convection oven and panini maker. Guest access Access to the carriage house is through the front gate and the house has its own private entrance and keyless access. Parking is available for an additional fee. There is a curb cut and loading area.
