Eclectic Hacienda, garden & pool in Marin

The villa is a 5000 square feet ranch style house on 2 acres in San Rafael, 20 min north of the Golden Gate bridge. We have a big room that can host 60 ppl ( we squeezed in 80!) for a party, screening, talks, dancing, art show ect, and can seat up to 25 for a sit-down dinner ( with addition of fold out tables). The grand room has a 10 person dinner table, an upright piano and 2 walls for art work. the table can be moved for a screening, talks, performances and so on. In addition there is a family room with couches and ‘squish’ (covered mattresses and pillows) for a loung-y event ( which can be moved for meetings), a wall for art work, a big screen for presentation (not hooked to cable) and a decorative fire place. We have a big kitchen with 2 sinks and an 8 person breakfast table. Outside there is a solar heated salt water pool (warm April to October), outdoors lounge area, grill, 18 person farm table near the pool, an 8 person hot tub, a thriving organic garden and a big oak tree on the front lawn for a gathering. The whole property is gated and private. In addition we have an organic garden which guests will walk through from the parking (parking and path are wood-chipped) and up to 5 bedrooms upon request. The back gate leads to open space with many trails. This property is ideal for workplace retreats, private dinner parties, day long offsite, and mild (not wild) celebrations. We can’t have noise at night as this is a residential valley, but music can be played indoors with windows and doors shut. You may be able to rent the entire house with all 5 bedrooms on occasion, pls reach out for more info.
