The Space

Gorgeous Traditional Outdoor Victorian Venue for Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions 🏠 Drive up through the line of palms in this historic elegant neighbourhood and at the corner of Grand View and Mountain Boulevard you will see a blindingly white archway with minarets, like something out of a golden age movie. This is one of the hidden gems in LA and can be the perfect wedding venue on the foothills of the Verdugo mountains, 10-15 min from downtown Glendale. This was the centre of the social life for the City’s elite in 1900s and has quickly become the favourite destination for many dignitaries. If you appreciate history, you will surely like this venue and make it the perfect choice for your special day. Please note that the Palace is not available for the wedding ceremonies or receptions, but all guests enter the venue through the white palace gates. Please check out the details of the optional ceremony locations that are right by the palace, a few min walk away, separated from the Palace grounds for exclusive hire. Here is what the Reservation will Cover: β˜† Rental of the Beautiful Gardens, Victorian House & Gazebo by the Palace; β˜† Event staff to coordinate setup of chairs and tables as needed; β˜† 100 Chairs and 10 Tables for the Reception and Ceremony as needed; β˜† Photography Permit for the Duration of the Reservation (Gardens, House, Gazebo); β˜† Alcohol Permit for All Guests attending the Ceremony & Reception; β˜† Event Insurance for All Guests to Cover Alcohol Service; β˜† Security Guards, 1 Guard per 75 Guests (No guard if alcohol is not served); β˜† Still Photography Permit for the Palace Grounds (Normally 30 min). Please choose a Location for the Ceremony (all within 2 min walk from each other) ❀️ Option 1 - Oriental Gardens, Outside the Tea House. The Tea House was built in 1974 and there are only a few such venues open to the public in the entire United States. They used to have traditional Japaneese tea serving ceremonies here and It represents the spirit of goodwill, lasting peace and friendship. ❀️ Option 2 - Outside the Victorian House. This glamorous Victorian House was built in 1888 and there are only two such Victorian Homes in the City of Glendale. This house was originally in downtown Glendale on Wilson Ave, but it was moved here in 1979. It was occupied by many dignitaries and Hollywood stars. ❀️ Option 3 - Outside the Victorian Gazebo. This beautiful Victorian Gazebo was also built in late 1800s and has been a sweet escape for many lovers and couples that tied the knot here, had their first kiss or celebrated their special occasion. It is located on the grounds of the Victorian House and is a gorgeous wedding venue. Other Things to Note: ❀ You are expected to decorate the space as you wish; ❀ You are expected to bring your own β€œvow master” for the ceremony; ❀ You are welcome to have any external setup; ❀ Only white chairs and tables are provided along with staffing; ❀ You are welcome to invite outside vendors for food and drinks; ❀ You are welcome to bring your own alcohol; ❀ Access times for the event have to be strictly followed; ❀ Any setup or breakdown times have to be included within the booking; ❀ Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the park; ❀ No cooking or open flames are allowed in the park; ❀ No DJs and amplified sounds are allowed at any time; ❀ Vendors are expected to provide a copy of their insurance. Parking: ❀ There are plenty of free public parking spaces at the Park Cancellations: ❀ Full refund if cancelled 15 days before the ceremony date; ❀ 50% refund if cancelled within 15 days of the ceremony date; ❀ No administrative fees charged for cancellations.
