Swedish American Hall is a registered San Francisco historic landmark, built in 1907 by architect August Nordin. The space boasts beautiful Arts+Crafts style architecture combined with modern amenities, centrally located at SF’s bustling Upper Market/Castro border. Swedish American Hall contains unique event spaces and a speakeasy style bar, Cafe du Nord, that can be activated individually or combined for a multi-faceted event experience.

This Hall is a historic mixed-use event space and live music venue in the heart of the Castro. Featuring four unique spaces that can be rented in a variety of combinations, the venue accommodates anywhere from 50 to 500 guests.
