The Space

BLOC 66 is located in the Alexandra-Marconi (Mile-Ex) area of Montréal, where the Mile-End, Outremont, Rosemont and Parc-Extension meet. Built in the 1930s, the building has served in the food industry as a mill for Robin Hood Flour for more than half a century. It's the perfect space to do your own customized event ! Possible event types: Parties, Shows, Cocktail Party, Banquet, Bar Mitzvah, Engagement Party, Conferences, Masters Class, Turning & Photoshoot. Main Room Area: 207 m2 (2 232 sq.ft) Length: 14.5 m (47 ft 7 in) Width: 14.63 m (48 in) = Ceiling: 3.55 m (11 ft 8 in) Cocktail: 250 people Theater: 200 people Small lobby (can not be rented separately) Area: 49.60 m2 (534 sq.ft) Length: 5.3 m (17 ft 6 in) Width: 9.3 m (30 ft 8 in) Ceiling: 3.35 m (11 ft 4 in) Cocktail: 50 people Theater: 25 people Inclusion: -- Main Room & Small lobby -- Use of the "kitchen" space in the basement (no equipment included) -- Use of the cold room located in the basement -- Use of a space to make the cloakroom in the basement (if desired) -- Use of coat racks (10), hangers (300) and table (coupons and staff not included) -- 5 counters 8 'x 32”x 42” on wheels (3 Stainless Steel & marble, 2 in wood) -- White light, adjustable track (PAR 38) -- Free parking if available (easy parking in neighboring streets) -- WIFI Cleaning -- 5 hours of cleaning after event with the "12 hours or less" package -- 3 hours of cleaning after event with the "4 hours or less" package PRICE LIST (before taxes) -- Rental (12 hours or less) 1150$ -- Rental (4 hours or less) 600$ -- Additional hours 75$/h -- Additional cleaning hours 25$/h -- Storage 100$ /24h ALCOHOL PERMIT A liquor permit is required for all alcohol consumption at Bloc 66, in accordance with the laws of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ). Two options are available: -- The client obtains the meeting permit and pays the costs. Bloc 66 provides the necessary documentation at no extra charge. -- The bar supplier hired by the customer obtains the liquor permit. This option must first be discussed with Bloc 66 representative as legal restrictions imposed by the RACJ must be respected. Please note that according to the laws of the RACJ, a liquor permit is required for each room where alcohol is consumed. Mandatory Staff: Minimum of 4 hours -- Security Supervisor: $ 25,75$/h -- Additional security guard: $ 24,75$/h -- Radio (CB) 20$/guard Mandatory depending on the nature of the event. Ratio of 1 agent to 100 pers or 1 agent per 75 pers. depending on the nature of the event. We work exclusively with Nexus agency (nexus-security.com) SUPPLIERS & SERVICES (non-exclusive) You are free to hire the caterer, bar service and audiovisual provider of your choice.
