I'm a professional chef with 35 years experience in restaurant kitchens. I have a cooking school in Little Italy with a great chef's kitchen, a lovely dining area, and a small landscaped terrace. I am looking to rent out this space when it is not in use for classes or private parties.

The Space

This charming, rustic/chic loft in the heart of Little Italy is perfect for all kinds of parties and kitchen rentals. Although the space is technically one big room, the kitchen and prep area are distinct from the dining area, which has two large, reclaimed wood tables that seat a total of 30 people comfortably. An elegant sofa marks the transition from one part of the room to the other. The dining area looks out over a private outdoor landscaped deck. There are two bathrooms, and access to the space is via a large elevator that opens directly from the sidewalk, making it easy to bring in equipment and supplies, and for guests with mobility issues. The fully equipped chef's kitchen has two rows of stainless steel work tables with butcher block cutting boards, two convection ovens, a Viking 4 burner stove and oven, 2 lowboy fridges, and all the equipment you would expect to find in the kitchen of a professional chef. We are fully supplied with plates of all sizes, bowls, wine glasses, water glasses, and cutlery. For corporate meetings, we have a large, freestanding roll-up screen and a projector. The space is perfect for hosting catered parties with private chefs (bring your own!), corporate meetings, catering companies doing prep for large outside events, film and photography shoots, and product launches.
