That's how we started our business 12 years ago in Clinton Hill, and it's how we still spend most of our weeks—watching creatives use our space as the backdrop to tell a story. The Space

IMPORTANT: Please message us prior to booking! SHELL’S LOFT is a boutique film studio and event space with on-site prop and plant rentals. This listing is for our new Red Hook location. Located at the entrance of the Red Hook neighborhood, near the Tesla showroom. This 6000 square foot freestanding A-frame loft building with 6000 square feet of private parking/outdoor space is ideal for film and photo shoots and corporate offsites. -Super easy load in and out with large roll up doors that lead directly into the space from our private parking lot. -Complete or partial build-out capabilities. -The space is quiet and ideal for sound recording. -Separate talent holding/ private HMU rooms. -Plenty of room for video village or just extra work space for social distancing. -3 private bathrooms. -Able to accommodate a wide range of shooting styles. This listing is specially priced to accommodate small shoots of 15 - 45 people. We take film/ photo shoots up to 150 people. For shoots larger than 45 people please message us directly for a custom quote based on your shoot needs.

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

During this time of Covid-19 we are being extra cautious, in an effort to protect our clients, as well as ourselves. We use film shoot safety protocols laid out by the NYC Mayor’s office as our template for all clients. We wear masks at all times when interacting with clients and expect our clients to do the same with us. Each space is cleaned thoroughly with disinfectants before and after each booking. We also use a fogger to disinfect the entire space in between bookings. Additionally, all bookings are spaced out with at least 24 hours between them to account for the extra cleaning and disinfecting time.
