Situated within a historic Modern building, the venue is the only space in NYC designed by legendary architect Paul Rudolph that is open to the public. It features custom designed lighting and furniture which makes the space truly one-of-a-kind. The location features a 2,900 s.f. duplex apartment with a 400 s.f. rear garden and dramatic interior stairs connecting both floors. If you need more space, the building also has a 2,800 s.f. duplex open plan gallery with multiple balconies which can be rented for a combined total of 5,700 s.f. over 4 floors (see separate listing for this option). This is the ideal location for corporate retreats, photography, film production, private or corporate events and much more! The duplex apartment offers a double kitchen (oven, gas stove, microwave, two sinks, two dishwashers, & two refrigerators), serving trays and ice buckets. There are four bathrooms in the space which is elevator accessible. Bars may be set-up in six areas, 2 dozen folding chairs are available for lectures, a large projector screen (and projector) are available along with an 8-speaker stereo with i-pod jack. A clothing rack with hangers is available at the ground floor for guest coat-check if needed. On-site manager is included with all bookings for no extra fee.
