I'm a fashion and design industry professional turned small business owner. I opened my home décor and gift shop in Carroll Gardens in September 2015 and moved to our current space in Cobble Hill in the summer of 2018. Part of what drew me to the space is its beautiful backyard garden that's perfect for small, open air events. Beyond fashion and deisign, I also have a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures - I've traveled extensively to over 30 countries!

The Space

We are a home décor and gift shop with a spacious and charming garden space. The 600-square foot paved space is ideal for any event that requires open air and plenty of Brooklyn charm. We have hosted birthday parties, engagement parties, baby showers, proposals, yoga classes, fundraisers, and more. The venue is located in the heart of bustling Cobble Hill shopping district and easily accessed by the F or G train and a very affordable cab ride from lower Manhattan. There are several excellent restaurants in the area that can accommodate catering of any kind at reasonable prices. Guests can also have food delivered and bring their own food and drinks, with full access to our outdoor grill. The space features a hidden sandbox and chalkboard wall for children's parties, but both can be transformed into decorative features for a more sophisticated affair. The garden is open air, but can be tented for an additional cost. We offer plenty of folding chairs and tables and can set up any table arrangement that you may require. Our space can normally accommodate 40 guests very comfortably and would allow access to other areas of the building if more space was needed, but due to the pandemic we have temporarily lowered our maximum capacity to 25 to allow for social distancing and outdoor access only.

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

Our space is entirely outdoors, so it is ideal for these strange times we are living in. The experts agree that if you are going to gather, then outdoors is the best place to be. In addition we sanitize everything immediately prior to any booking. We also supply disposable masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes to all of our guests at no cost of course. We encourage all of our guests to observe the best practices to help stop the spread.

We are happy to set up the tables, chairs, and bar area in any arrangement you would like prior to your arrival. You are welcome to bring additional decorations and decorate the space however you would like. We ask that you include time for set up and breakdown in your initial booking. The entire or part of the 700-square foot space can be tented for an additional fee. Guests can bring their own food and can use the grill. We also allow food delivery and catering.
