Spacious Storefront Near Broadway Junction

We are a collective of Pratt Institute graduates looking to cultivate an exciting art community near the Broadway Junction. The nearest trains are the J/M/Z, A/C, L lines. Currently, our group consists of two architects, an interior designer, a graphic designer/DJ, and an industrial designer with a wide range of interests which includes but is not limited to woodworking, fine arts, screen printing, rapid prototyping, and fabrication. Together we want to create an environment where we can bring innovative and critical ideas that contribute to art, design, public life and the community, to life. Separately we would like to use the space as an outlet to expand our creative freedom. The shared space is approximately 1,000 sf with conditional access to the rear yard. The 1st-floor storefront is about 600 sf, not including the bathroom. The backyard is meant for recreational use only and at the discretion of the landlord. Ultimately, we'd like the space to multifunction as not only our workspace but also as a place for exhibitions, events, and projects that provide alternative platforms for dialogue and collaboration across geographic, disciplinary, and ideological boundaries. We are all super laid back and would like to host events that fit seamlessly into our community and to contribute to the goals for the space. We look forward to hearing from you.
