Charo Oquet is a Miami based inter-disciplinary artist. Her work has been recognized by numerous scholarships and awards, most recently South Florida Cultural Consortium Visual and Media Artists Fellowship’16 &05; MAP Fund ‘15, Miami; the Grand Prize in the Dominican Biennial, Museum of Modern Art of Santo Domingo ‘11; Charo Oquet’s works have been written about extensively in various publications. Her work is in the public collections in museums and private prestigious collections around the world.

The Space

This gallery space is a street-level, flexi-use ADA compliant event space located in Allapattah right next to the Wynwood Art District with plenty of parking that boasts a 40 sqft outdoor area just outside the 1500 sqft gallery space. The Gallery is a contemporay white cube with a refreshing, modern simplicity. The space is an ideal venue for art shows, cultural exhibitions, fundraising events, non-profit events, cocktail receptions, special celebrations and weddings. We have hosted festivals, exhibitions, talks, fundraisers and workshops.
