My wife and I have lived in our 1926 Spanish style home for 7 years. We love its original details, lush tropical landscaping, and large private lot with a pool. We both work in the arts industry; our home reflects our love of both art and and the natural beauty Miami has to offer.

The Space

Our 1926 home is located in Shorecrest, Miami, along the Biscayne corridor and adjacent to the Mimo district. The spacious 12,500 sq ft lot includes lush landscaping, a large swimming pool, and two distinct structures. The main house (2br, 2 bath) includes a large dining/living area with vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, and Cuban tile; a small living area with original dark wood floors; and a kitchen with original penny tiles. The wood-frame double hung windows let in the saturated tropical sunlight, making it an ideal location for photo or film shoots. The small back house (1 br/1 bath) is carefully and minimally appointed with cuban tiles throughout and large French doors that overlook the yard and swimming pool. The large yard and swimming pool are completely private--making it an ideal spot for uninterrupted shoots or intimate gatherings.
