The Space

Available 7-days a week | 7AM-10PM Welcome to our sunny and spacious downtown live work loft located in the in the heart of DTLA. In this space you'll find a 1,200 sqft bi-level ground floor live work loft that offers a clean, well lit modern aesthetic. Laid out in a live work loft style, there is an upstairs and downstairs area that is separated by a spiral staircase and closable door if need. Entry/Exit access is available both upstairs and downstairs, making it possible to leave either area uninterrupted if there is filming in progress. Both upstairs and downstairs have large bathrooms available for use of hair, makeup, and wardrobe. DOWNSTAIRS Enjoy immense natural light, an expansive living room, customizable whiteboard and workspace table, cozy botanical seating corner, second interview styled seating area, large bathroom area for wardrobe and makeup, 2 full size murphy beds, wood flooring, concrete industrial ceilings, vast 11' windows that face East, and 15' ceilings. The unit also includes a storefront double door entrance that opens up to a main street perfect for loading and unloading production equipment, PERFECT for production crews. Our whiteboard and table top space is ideal for mastermind meetings or video ads. Or move around between areas for interview styled films. We’ve made sure there are different styles of chairs and backgrounds for you to be able to capture multiple shots that carry variety in just one space. We also conveniently have a backdrop set up with three different colors (white, grey, and black), to capture studio shots. UPSTAIRS There is additionally a spacious apartment located above the ground floor. Fairly lit you will find a more soft neutral living room, bedroom, large full bath, rich dark wood white and black eclectic kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances. Plenty of room for video village, food, wardrobe and makeup or breakout areas. We provide up to 6 directors chairs for any of these needs. Separate entry/exit door from downstairs available. PLEASE NOTE: Posted price per hour is for a crew of 15 people max including crew & talent. Larger productions are welcome & subject to higher rates. All booking start & end times are inclusive of setup & tear down time, so please include that when booking your reservation. If you’re interested in multi-day, note that an additional fee may be charged for overnight displacement. FILMING, PHOTO & PRODUCTION-- Please include the following: *Total number of crew & talent *Desired date(s) *Exact hours you will need (ie. 7am-7pm) including load-in/load-out, setup and tear-down *Equipment & lighting specs SCOUTING -- We are happy to accommodate initial location scouts provided the rate and hourly minimum are met for the reservation date. We will only accommodate (1) scout prior to a booking reservation being made. Additional tech/Director Scouts will only be permitted once the booking has been accepted. All scouts are subject to availability, and we will not accommodate scouts during other guests' reservations/productions. OVERTIME -- If you go over your booking time, you will be charged time & 1/2. We're happy to offer a 20-min grace period for load-out, but do not allow early arrivals. PARKING-- We recommend parking in this buildings underground structure (available 24/7), which is a flat $12 rate. If you need to load large or heavy equipment, please contact us via message, and we’ll be happy to explain the simple and convenient loading instructions. CLEANING -- Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. DAMAGE -- Accidents happen, but we do require that all guests inform us if anything is damaged during their use. A walk-through is required before and after all bookings. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES/ PORNOGRAPHIC CONTENT -- The use or involvement of illegal substances is strictly prohibited and will result in eviction from the property and may result in law enforcement participation. We also do not tolerate pornographic content.
