Our venue started out as a large storefront Marcy renovated with her mother in 2014 for her software consulting firm to use as a loft office. In 2016, newlywed Marcy + Keith converted the space to become a venue that feels like home! We were both raised with caretaker personalities in tow, so we love how throwing events in our space is so much like an extension of our natural inclinations toward hospitality/making someone feel welcome. Our home is your home: this space is for living! A cool bonus for us: seeing that our company is owned by a woman and a USMC combat veteran, we love to help women-, POC-, veteran- and PWD- owned businesses thrive via use of our space. We discount accordingly! :) Besides running our venue, we have 3 big dogs and love DIY, technology, entrepreneurship, science and all the maker-y stuff you can imagine that weaves intersection throughout those topics and the human condition.

The Space

We love hosting offsites, workshops, classes, meetings, popups, showers/parties, wedding receptions, and conferences! Our space is like a gigantic living room, full of plants and lounge seating, tucked away off a busy street. Our 1,500 sq ft venue comfortably seats 50+ as an audience, 30+ at tables, and 75 standing/reception style. Amenities include a kitchenette + island/bar/buffet, whiteboard, projector/screen, TV, 70 stackable chairs, 8 tables, and a bluetooth-enabled speaker system. Bonus: vintage upright piano! We do not have ANY nonsense vendor-requirements or restrictions on catering or open-bar. Do your event your way! BYOB and BYOC! We have bartenders if you need one! We are located in the WOW district (West of Western) in between 2 blue line stops (Damen & Western) and off two bus lines (North/Western). There is ample (free!) parking on side streets.

Please note: WEEKDAYS and WEEKNIGHTS are $100/hr + cleaning fees (3hr minimum), whereas our rate is $125/hr + cleaning fees (4hr minimum) for events on WEEKENDS (Fri night, anytime Sat/Sun). We do not actually price based on type of event, only WHEN it occurs. We also offer an additional 10% discount for NFPs, social enterprise companies, women or veteran or POC-operated companies, CPS teachers leading work events, and neighborhood/community groups with goals of social good. Eligibility for this discount is given at our discretion and an event must be a minimum of 4 hours long to qualify.
