Our vintage wood photo / video production studio is very versatile and can easily be rearranged to accommodate a number of different setups and backdrops. There are large industrial windows that offer soft natural light throughout the day and warm golden hour. One of our walls is covered in vinyl records and is the perfect location for a music shoot or vintage look. We have 9 different solid color backdrops, all of which are available for free. A studio manager will be on-site to assist for the duration of your shoot; we have a curtain room divider available for privacy / changing. There are blackout curtains available for the windows. The space has a few pieces of basic furniture which can be moved around easily; these items include desks, chairs, mirror and plants. Complimentary water and snacks. Hand-built designer touches in the bespoke millwork, Restoration Hardware chandeliers, dress forms and bar counter stools, and extra high 14 ' ceilings set this space apart. The old piano factory storefront features a large window of vintage ice block glass from the Chicago World's Fair era. This window has motorized shades to either create light filtering or near black out if you wish to utilize the gorgeous ambiance of the chandeliers and LED lighting. Our Lounge area is SW facing and full of light for your daytime photography and videography needs. We are a lower level space with a 16x7 foot window that pours in unobstructed midday light. All the lights are dimmable and all LED lights are controllable and color changing on our app-loaded house iPad, or a remote control. Two Sonos speakers on either end of the space are able to fill your shoot or event with music. An extra 30 minutes is built into the bookends of your rental to allow you to acclimate to the space and lighting and to clean up after. This visual arts space is perfect for the content creator of the spicy allure, fetish photography, boudoir photography and fashion forward, edgy and modern photography. This industrial style showroom with concrete floors and exposed pipes has bright natural light from our large south facing windows and two beautifully spacious rooms. Birthday party? Pop-up shop? Paint and sip? We got you! Our Showroom event space is perfect for events up to 50 attendees. The space includes a large showroom in front as well as access to the attached office space where you can find our coat rack, microwave, and minifridge if needed. We also have additional seating, tables, and a photo backdrop setup that can be requested for an additional cost. Please note that the building's entrance will be locked starting at 6PM Monday-Friday, 5PM on Saturday, and 3PM on Sunday. If your event has guest arriving past these times, you will need to have an usher to permit entrance into the building. Included in your booking fee is up to 1 hour of set-up time before your event.
