All lights, tripod movement, camera operation and audio are controlled from the second floor of our building, allowing the subject to be isolated on the first floor. This means the subject can participate in a shoot without being in contact with another individual. Producers can be anywhere in the world and still talk face-to-face with their subject, utilizing either a direct-to-camera style or an off-camera style. All the producer needs is a laptop or computer with a webcam and a link we will provide. This allows for an intimate interview setting without ever occupying the same space, ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved. The subject will see the Producer throughout their entire interview, and vice versa. We have a TEMPERATURE SCREENING & TECHNOLOGY/HAND SANITIZING STATION set up at the front door of our studio. We also have disposable masks and gloves, disinfectant spray and wipes, and hand sanitizer readily available for our guests. We rent our spaces for 4 categories: meetings, productions, events, and showrooms. Each category has different minimum hours, pricing, cleaning fees, etc. We always charge three mandatory standard fees: space rental, cleaning, and studio manager. Splacer then charges around 8-10% in processing fees. Our space features a raw warehouse space that includes 25ft ceilings throughout at least 1/2 of the space. We also have a second floor that is available if needed. The space is perfect if bringing props, vehicles, lighting, as well as stage building is needed.

Our space is a gorgeous production studio based in the heart of Long Island City. We are one of the most accessible and affordable studios in all of New York City! We are steps away from the Queensboro/59th Street Bridge, across the street from a CitiBike station and only 5-10 minute walks from the 7, E, N, R, W, M & F train stations at Queensboro/Queens Plaza. With gorgeous daylight pouring into our 20 foot+ ceiling space, you will have the ultimate natural light photo shoots, video shoots or podcasting sessions. Come in the evening and you’ll enjoy a gorgeous sunset over the horizon of midtown Manhattan. This studio comes fully equipped with 9 foot seamless backdrops (black, white, green and other colors included), blackout curtains and a large 43-inch smart TV (equipped with Airplay or HDMi) for usage as a monitor or for standard television usage. Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$150/hour (i.e. $200/hr (base) + $150/hr (film surcharge)) = $350/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots. Additional costs: - 1x $500 Site Rep Fee - 1x $300 Cleaning Fee We require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (5x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-10 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot. The hourly base rate increases as your headcount increases. Someone from our team will be on-site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify that all rules are followed. We have a 10-hour minimum for all locations. If you book for 6 hours, you will be charged for 10 hours. You must let us know if your schedule shifts for any circumstance. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to schedule yourself for the full 10 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time. Events and large-impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule. We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. A certificate of insurance is required for all productions. Upon booking this location, it is required to sign a Location Agreement. No one will be permitted on set until this Agreement is signed. No nudity whatsoever. Heavy Equipment can’t be plugged into the location’s power network. Crews should be aware that the location runs on normal household power circulation and that they would need to arrange for an external power generator if they have any heavy EQ. Located blocks away from major highways, a major airport, and close to hotels and lodging. The price includes our sound engineer/ host, and the lounge includes wifi, TV, cable, air conditioning, and heat. Male and female bathrooms are available on the premises as well.
