Lalita consists of 3 bedrooms; each entirely different with their own individual style/color scheme, 1 movie room/den, 2 full bathrooms, a full chef's kitchen with a 6-16 person dining table and an extremely spacious living room with a wide, round and colorful 'conversation couch'. Lalita Loft features iconic key pieces like the the Ettore Sottsass “Ultrafragola Mirror”, Jack Lenor Larsen chairs (6 dining & 2 lounge), a custom Vladimir Kagan loveseat and reupholstered/reworked vintage pieces made exclusively for Lalita Loft by renowned artists such as Brandi Howe, Michelle Kesselman, Niki Marvin and more. Bright, modern, spacious 3,000 sqft Brooklyn brownstone with clean minimalist decor and full of iconic mid-century modern furniture. The soaring 11 foot ceilings and the back wall made entirely of glass create a sunlight-flooded and airy living space on the first floor. The master bedroom has 20 foot ceilings, providing extra drama to an elegantly furnished room. The master bathroom has floor to ceiling marble and a large soaking tub. The nursery is warm and cozy with a Scandinavian aesthetic. Both the nursery and an additional bedroom on the third floor (not pictured) face south and have great sunlight all year round. There is also a deck, a private backyard, and an a separate one bedroom apartment on the garden level.

Our facility is 2,000 sq ft w/ 15 foot ceilings, designed not only record an orchestra, but also as a creative space to host photo shoots, film screenings, intimate live performances, or VIP listening parties. We are a classic, large-format big room, analog and digital recording studio nestled in South Williamsburg. This hand-built space features Protools HD 32 I/O, 2 inch Studer A827 24 track analog tape machine, a fully restored Harrison 4032c 40-channel analog recording console (same series the Thriller album was recorded on), a baby grand Yamaha piano, an impressive mic collection, and more. Please note while our usual people cap is much higher, we have temporarily capped count at 10 -15 people as per our new COVID-19 protocols to ensure proper social distancing. We have many other measures in place to continue hosting safe productions at our space, including new cleaning / sanitization protocols, placement of HEPA air filters, private testing options with fast turnarounds, etc. Note, use of our control room is now only permitted for special circumstances and for an additional fee. Our space is perfect for any production needs. Located in the heart of Dumbo Brooklyn, it is easy accessable from the A/C High Street and F York Street subway stations. Our studio manager will be on sight to let you into our building and will be in our office next door to our studio and can be available for any questions and concerns. You can use all the equipment and backdrops in the studio. All backdrops are free to use as backgrounds only. Studio is under video surveillance for security, insurance and dispute purposes. (it can/will be used for dispute resolution ONLY). I do check in periodically to make sure everything is up-to-date and guests are abiding by the rules. Built by your host, Peter, this New York based studio offers professional photography studio rental for photo shoots and video productions. Included in the rental fee is a large selection of professional lighting for both still photography and video production. The studio features a custom made white cyc (infinity wall), large windows with sw exposure, a center room skylight with sliding black out shutter, built-in hair & makeup station, wardrobe rack, a professional clothes steamer, and a large, private bathroom with shower. The space converts from a natural daylight studio to a full black out in just a few minutes. Most of the equipment in the studio, (lights, stands, sandbags, reflectors, etc.), is included with your rental. The "In house" equipment includes a full selection of daylight balanced strobes & continuous lights (both par and kino type) and a variety of modifiers so you can move seamlessly from still photography to video work. You can set the lights up on your own or, if you’re new to studio lighting or just need to be shooting as soon as possible, I can help you get the lights setup and make sure everything is working properly. Either way, if you have any questions either setting up or during your shoot you can always find me in my office off the side of the studio or by calling my cell phone if I stepped out. In addition to the included equipment, a Canon 5d Mark II with L lenses and support gear, color backgrounds, a green screen, a black back drop and atmospheric effects are also available for an additional rental fee.

Please send an inquiry with a description of your project, not a booking request. - Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$150/hour (i.e. $150/hr (base) + $150/hr (film surcharge)) = $300/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to the need for multiple scouts, heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots. - Crews over 10 people will be charged an additional $10 per person per hour. Additional costs: - 1x $500 Site Rep Fee - 1x $200 Cleaning Fee Finally, we require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (5x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-10 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot. Someone from our team will be on site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify head count and that all rules are followed. We have a 10 hour minimum, if you book for 6 hours you will be charged for 10 hours. If you book for 6 hours, you must still let us know if your schedule shifts. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to simply schedule yourself for the full 10 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time. Large impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule. We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. This Brooklyn Church serving as a content creation location is a unique church property with an untouched vintage personality. The space is suitable for both small as well as large scale productions. This location, serving as a photo and film studio is located in Brooklyn. This multi-unit location offers a variety of different spaces, all with a unique, vintage and raw feel that is hard to find in New York. The chipped painting on the wall give this space character like nowhere else. Combined with the amount of natural light and the vintage decor, this space will help you realize your creative vision for your project. The natural light, warm, and vibrant colors entering through the windows of this location perfectly balance each other out. This location might help you create your favorite shot of the visual project to come. We manage several locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn and have an extended amount of experience in production. When you book one of our spaces, you'll be connected to an on-site representative who will be with you throughout your production to orient you in the space and answer any questions. Please note, some rooms are upstairs. This is a great space for all crew sizes as the location is spacious and expansive. A certificate of insurance is required of all productions. Upon booking this location it's required to sign a Location Agreement. Absence of a signed Location Agreement can lead to the host canceling the booking. Heavy Equipment can’t be plugged into the Location’s power network. Crews should be aware that the Location runs on normal household power circulation and that they would need to arrange for an external power generator themselves may they have any Heavy Equipment in their EQ Package. The Location is not a professional ‘soundstage studio’.
