All lights, tripod movement, camera operation and audio are controlled from the second floor of our building, allowing the subject to be isolated on the first floor. This means the subject can participate in a shoot without being in contact with another individual. Producers can be anywhere in the world and still talk face-to-face with their subject, utilizing either a direct-to-camera style or an off-camera style. All the producer needs is a laptop or computer with a webcam and a link we will provide. This allows for an intimate interview setting without ever occupying the same space, ensuring the health and safety of everyone involved. The subject will see the Producer throughout their entire interview, and vice versa. We have a TEMPERATURE SCREENING & TECHNOLOGY/HAND SANITIZING STATION set up at the front door of our studio. We also have disposable masks and gloves, disinfectant spray and wipes, and hand sanitizer readily available for our guests. The main entrance to the property is on the ground floor. WILL I HAVE ACCESS TO THE OUTDOOR SPACE? Yes, with your rental, you will be able to access the private backyard space. WHERE SHOULD I STAGE THE EQUIPMENT FOR MY MEDIA PRODUCTION? It all depends what areas are you planning to shoot on. Many times, when our clients shot list develops entirely in the indoor space, they like to stage in the backyard - eve with bad weather conditions, tends are allowed and the are able to use the area for staging The house is ample and offer many options for staging if you are also planning to shoot in the outdoor area. Just check with your Booking Manager so they can advise you in the days previous to your shoot. ARE BOOTIES REQUIRED FOR MY MEDIA PRODUCTION RENTAL? Yes, we require booties at this location. We provide booties for all of your team members. Booties are not required for events and/or offsite meetings CAN I USE THE KITCHEN FOR PREPPING AND COOKING? Absolutely! Please, make sure to communicate usage of the kitchen to your Booking Manager so we make sure everything is ready to go when you check-in the property CAN I USE THE POTS AND PANS? Communicate with your Booking Manager about usage of any utensils and dish-ware – as they may be off-limits per our property partner. Our Team can coordinate simple and inexpensive rentals for you if what you need is not available on-site. DO YOU HAVE CENTRAL AC OR HEATING? Yes, this space has both Central Ac and heating. CAN I USE THE FIREPLACE? While we do not allow usage of the fireplace for any Events, Meetings, or Showrooms due to risk of injury, for specific Media Productions, we may grant permission of usage of the fireplace upon reviewing your shot list and team that will be handling the operation. Usage of the fireplace may only be permitted under On Site Manager supervision. HOW MANY TVS AND PROJECTORS DO YOU HAVE? There is a Digital Projector with a TV screen in the second floor that can be used for your event, production or meeting. CAN I MOVE THE ARTWORK? The majority of the artwork pieces at this location can be moves very easily. Make sure to communicate with your Booking Manager during the pre-reservation stage so we can be ready to help you with artwork pieces removal. DO YOU HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM? Yes – there is a laundry room and it will be available for your Media Production. HOW FAST IS YOUR WIFI SPEED? We have WiFi speed up to 200 mbps. ARE THERE SPEAKERS AVAILABLE FOR MY RESERVATION? Please send an inquiry with a description of your project, not a booking request. Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$150/hour (i.e. $300/hr (base) + $150/hr (film surcharge)) = $450/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to the need for multiple scouts, heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots. Additional costs: - 1x $300 Site Rep Fee - 1x $200 Cleaning Fee Finally, we require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (5x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-7 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot. The hourly base rate increases as your head count increases. Someone from our team will be on site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify head count and that all rules are followed. We have a 10 hour minimum, if you book for 6 hours you will be charged for 10 hours. If you book for 6 hours, you must still let us know if your schedule shifts. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to simply schedule yourself for the full 10 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time. Large impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule. We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. You cannot book this location for a few hours. Do not message to ask. This content creation location is unique and equipped with an untouched vintage personality. Please note, some rooms are upstairs. This is a great space for all crew sizes as the location is spacious and expansive. A certificate of insurance is required of all productions. Upon booking this location it's required to sign a Location Agreement. Absence of a signed Location Agreement can lead to the host canceling the booking. Heavy Equipment can’t be plugged into the Location’s power network. Crews should be aware that the Location runs on normal household power circulation and that they would need to arrange for an external power generator themselves may they have any Heavy Equipment in their EQ Package. The Location is not a professional ‘soundstage studio’.
