Glam Greenwich Village Loft

New York | Manhattan

$79 per hour

Wow. The elevator opens into a massive, open loft. The space is plant-filled and sunny. With an ideal location in the heart of Greenwich Village, this is the place to host your event. A sense of air and light permeates the apartment, reinforced by hardwood floors, bold white corinthian columns supporting a high oak-beam ceiling, and a stunningly decorated, brightly-colored interior. The windows face North and East and the space is regularly used for photo shoots. The living room is the centerpiece of the apartment, complete with couches, throw pillows and high-backed armchairs. Flanked by plants and books, it feels like a modern day salon. The living room thrums with thoughtful details — Edison bulbs, the alabaster-white, corinthian column, industrial chess pieces. Next to the sitting space, you’ll also find a full 8-person dining table for guests and meals. Connected to the living room is a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances for your use, including rice cooker, Vitamix, and carbonator. A central, wooden island allows plentiful cooking and socializing space. The entire apartment is wired with Sonos sound and high speed wifi. The art can be removed from the walls easily.

The Floating Farmhouse

Eldred | Highland

$435 per hour
135
A mix of modern architecture and old-world charm makes the Floating Farmhouse, an 1820 Catskills manor home featured by Dwell magazine and Architectural Digest, an inspired destination. Perched at the edge of a pristine creek and ancient dam of hand-laid stone, the home's grand spaces, dramatic details, and expansive aura are as enchanting as the landscape surrounding it. A cathedral-like kitchen features polished concrete floors, a wood-fired pizza oven, and a two-story wall of skyscraper glass framing views of the brook, gazebo, sweeping lawns, apple trees, and barn. French doors lead to a grand covered porch suspended over the water's edge, and the waterfall's cascading rhythms fill the cavernous great room and master suite. Original cast-iron beds and wavy glass windows adorn all sleeping quarters, and vintage farmhouse furnishings abound throughout. OCCUPANCY BREAKDOWN: Dinner party for 12 around kitchen table, for 24 if dining al fresco around the covered porch dining tables. 35 people for interior cocktail party, more if extended to outdoor living areas (such as covered porch). Up to 100 for weddings and receptions, lectures, and other outdoor events. ADDITIONAL FEES: Cleaning fee mandatory, on-site supervision fee and septic service fee/portable bathroom rental based on group size.
