Hi there! This space was custom-designed from the ground up by local artisans and artists to be a high-end event space for the Bay Area. We took everything we learned from our success at our first two locations to create this truly unforgettable event space. This brand new location, nestled conveniently in between the historic Union Square and Nob Hill neighborhoods, is truly a undiscovered gem in the San Francisco scene. The space is 1,600 square feet featuring beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows, gorgeous wood floors, gallery lighting, and open floor plan. The space has been recently renovated by hand (including my hands) and we have built in everything we can think of with the finest detail into this project. I've hosted more than two hundred special events and celebrations of all types and I'm happy to work with you to customize the space to fit your specific event needs. We have four handcrafted designer tables and there are 50 chairs available for use. The Exciting Downtown Event Venue supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, fine art, and decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. By booking with us you enable us to keep the gallery completely free for our local creative residents to showcase and sell their amazing work. So thank you! We provide a high-end music system, wireless LED customized lighting, an HD cinema projector, a small catering room, smart locks, a high-end laptop, and most importantly, some of the best customer service and event support you will find. The A/V package comes with a dedicated A/V technician along with all the equipment (amps, microphone, and projector), included with the rental. The Exciting Downtown Event Venue is located right in the heart of downtown San Francisco and is extremely accessible via public transportation and rideshare. There are also several parking structures on the block. This space is 1.5 blocks from the famous Union Square and dozens of high-end hotels and world class shopping and restaurants. Whether you're hosting a corporate meeting, holiday party, family reunion, engagement party, fundraiser or other special occasion, our signature services provide a stress-free environment designed exclusively for your event. HISTORY OF OUR SPACE & ENTERTAINMENT Our venue is located on the infamous Broadway Street in the old legendary Jazz Workshop venue. It was here where the greats: Miles Davis, James Moody, John Coltrane, Lenny Bruce & other legends performed. We continue the tradition of hosting live music every week. We are also well equipped for bands, DJs, and other entertainment should you want that addition to your event. We have an entertainment permit that allows us to play music until 2am! No additional permits or insurance required. VENUE SPECIFICATIONS & INCLUDED AMENITIES -3,000 square feet -two bars -outdoor patio -full staff (bartender, bar back, on-site management, door host) -A/V: LCD projector + 120" projector screen, custom lighting, in-house sound system -two hours of set up time before the event -clean up VENUE FEE & BAR MINIMUM Depending on your group size, day of the week and time frame, we will let you know what the bar minimum is for your particular booking. Rules OVERTIME Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in half-hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate. CLEANING / DAMAGES Cleaning fee is included in the hourly rate, although guests are expected to leave the space in the same condition as they found it in. Guests must respect the space and we ask/appreciate that guests tidy up after themselves. Guest must remove any equipment or rentals you bring in, and you should factor this setup and teardown time in your booking hours. Please take great care of our space. No nails, screws, staples or penetrating items should be used on our walls. Any tape or gummed backing materials must be properly removed. Damages (walls, floors, furniture, etc) will be billed to the credit card on file. SOUND Sound must not exceed 98 dB and must end at 1am. FURNITURE Please notify us in advance if you need to move furniture in the space to suit your event needs. MISCELLANEOUS There is no smoking allowed in the space. No glitter or confetti can be used. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated.

Did you know that you could rent our Writing Lab for your very own event, gathering, or Deep Sea Explorers Committee meeting? That’s right—the same whimsical, vibrant space we use to inspire our young authors can be used to inspire your friends, peers, and colleagues. All proceeds from your rental will go directly to supporting our free programs for under-resourced students. Our spacious Writing Lab is a great space for a variety of activities. Furniture and amenities include: 15 tables (each seats 8) ~75 chairs Projector AV system Microphone Projector/screen Stage Treehouse Two bathrooms Kitchen (includes a sink, refrigerator, and microwave) The long, sturdy wooden tables are great for group work and hands-on activities. Alternatively, chairs can be positioned in front of the stage for lectures. For readings or parties, the space is open enough to allow your guests to mingle, and there’s plenty of room for a bar, food, and/or a merchandise booth. And our treehouse mural makes for a great backdrop for photos! In addition to the Writing Lab, our retail shop can be opened to the guests upon request. This retail shop provides a glimpse into the magical adventures of our travelings pufferfish mascot, supplies for your next adventure, and books written by students in 826 programs. The center is located downtown, close to the Civic Center Station and is easily accessible from anywhere in San Francisco by public transit.
This private gated cabin is for special occasions. With views across Silicon Valley, the cabin sits on 2 acres of resort-like setting, with walking paths, outdoor seating nooks and flower and vegetable gardens. From bridal showers under the rose covered trellis to all day retreats in our library and loft spaces, to BBQ picnics in the lavender flowers to parties that flow from the great room out French doors onto our 1600 square foot deck overlooking the lights below, this house was built for events. We can accommodate 50 people inside the house and many more, 100+, in the gardens. There is parking space for 12-15 cars. We suggest very large groups meet up in Saratoga Village and Uber or carpool up the hill.
