Hi there! This space was custom-designed from the ground up by local artisans and artists to be a high-end event space for the Bay Area. We took everything we learned from our success at our first location to create this truly unforgettable event space. This brand new location is truly a undiscovered gem in the East Bay arts and community scene. The space is 3,500 square feet of beautiful large skylights, tons of exposed brick, steel beams, and old timber. The space has been recently renovated by hand (including my hands) and we have built in everything we can think of with the finest detail into this project. I've hosted more than a hundred special events and celebrations of all types and I'm happy to work with you to customize the space to fit your specific event needs. We have six handcrafted designer tables and seating for up to 52 people at a time. A few of the tables are 12 foot long tables that can be linked together to create a single 36 foot community table to seat 50 people together at once! Our venue supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, fine art, and decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. By booking with us you enable us to keep the gallery completely free for our local creative residents to showcase and sell their amazing work. So thank you! We provide a high-end professional music venue system, wireless LED customized lighting, an HD cinema projector, 200" movie screen, a catering room, smart locks, a high-end laptop, and most importantly, some of the best customer service and event support you will find. We offer a complementary A/V solution with a dedicated A/V technician along with all the equipment (speakers, microphones, stage, projector, movie screen). This venue is located in the West Berkeley neighborhood. West Berkeley is an up-and-coming part of the East Bay that is full of young families, artists, and technology companies. There is street-parking available, both metered and non-metered...and best of all the venue is extremely accessible from the freeways and highways (right of I-80!). The space is 2,300 square feet in total, including an almost 200 square foot back patio. Convenience is queen here as we have ample private parking and street parking, outdoor space, ability to host food trucks and caterers, and an experienced support staff to help you pull off an event to remember. The space is entirely open floor plan and has gorgeous hardwood floors that have been refinished and the entire space has just recently undergone a remodeling (including by my own hands!). The Industrial Chic Event Venue supports local artists and features gorgeous handcrafted tables, and vintage decor that all created by local Bay Area residents. Included with the rental, at no additional charge, are five handcrafted maple tables, 60 chairs, 15 stools, a bar/serving area, industrial sink and drinking water fountain. You are also welcome to play your own background Spotify music via our concert-style speakers. We also have wireless LED customized lighting that can be adjusted to your favorite colors! We offer a complementary A/V solution that includes a high-resolution cinema projector, a drop down movie screen, wireless microphones, and a mixer, along with A/V technical support. Most importantly, we have some of the best customer service and event support you will find in the Bay! The Industrial Chic Event Venue is located in the Jack London area of Oakland, right off of the freeway and only a 10 minute walk to West Oakland BART. There is ample parking for free on the public streets and in the parking lot. This space is 5 blocks from the famous Jack London Square and waterfront which features dozens of hotels, shopping, and fantastic restaurants. Whether you're hosting a corporate meeting, holiday party, family reunion, engagement party, fundraiser or other special occasion, our signature services provide a stress-free environment designed exclusively for your event. HISTORY OF OUR SPACE & ENTERTAINMENT Our venue is located on the infamous Broadway Street in the old legendary Jazz Workshop venue. It was here where the greats: Miles Davis, James Moody, John Coltrane, Lenny Bruce & other legends performed. We continue the tradition of hosting live music every week. We are also well equipped for bands, DJs, and other entertainment should you want that addition to your event. We have an entertainment permit that allows us to play music until 2am! No additional permits or insurance required.
