The outdoor pool and patio areas are ideal for all photo shoots, film/video shoots, meetings, yoga sessions, workshops, and more. Our space consists of a unique 180-degree view from the Santa Monica coastline to downtown LA to the Griffith Observatory. This is the backyard of a private home in a residential area of Beechwood Canyon at the top of the Hollywood Hills. The backyard includes a heated pool/hot tub surrounded by Mediterranean landscaping, stucco walls, sage/gray wood pergola and stamped concrete floors/dextrex floors and grass around the pool, and complete with two sitting areas around two fire-pits as well as 8 matching additional wicker chairs around a 60" round teak dining table. In addition to the outdoor space, you will have access to an interior bathroom that has outside access for hair/ make up and styling with your own bathroom/ shower/sink. I can also provide a table and chairs and a hanging rack for outside the bathroom so you can open the door and style with access to the mirror inside. Located in the heart of the Hollywood Hills the front of the house has views of the Hollywood sign and the back of the house has views of the city/ocean/Griffith Park and the observatory. The location offers decent street parking. Conveniently located close to other potential shooting venues such as Griffith Park, Lake Hollywood Park, and the Hollywood Sign. We also have a hand-poured caustic Spanish tiled front patio that has 4 Spanish white stucco arches and a view of the Hollywood sign through eucalyptus trees. This patio is not included in this shoot fee but can be added with an additional fee and discussed upon booking. HOURLY RATE: Hourly rate is based on a total number of people. MINIMUM DAILY SHOOT FEE: $800 plus a $120 cleaning fee and any other additional applicable fees. MINIMUM HALF DAY SHOOT FEE: $450 plus a $120 cleaning fee and any other additional applicable fees. Whenever possible, we will reserve the right to book a separate client during the time not selected, so please keep that in mind if your productions tend to run a bit over. All other requirements, rules, applicable fees, additional attendee charges, etc. still apply. CALCULATE YOUR HOURLY RATE: The hourly rate is $120/ hour for the first 6 people, with a minimum of 3 hours. Each additional person is to be charged at an additional $15/ hour. Not including catering or craft service delivery and pick ups. For example: Hourly Rate is $140/ hour for 6 total people Hourly Rate is $170/ hour for 8 total people Hourly Rate is $200/ hour for 10 total people ... etc. etc. Any additional hour within 10 hours from the bookings start time will be charged at your hourly rate. Overtime will be charged after 10 hours of the bookings start time. OVERTIME: Overtime is charged at 1.5 x your hourly rate past 10 hours by increments of 30 minutes. SITE REP/ ANCILLARY FEES: For smaller shoots, and if available, the owner will act as the site rep. Larger shoots, or if the owner is not available, you may need to pay a site rep. fee of $200 - $400. You may also be charged an ancillary fee for possible equipment, furniture use, catering, pool heating, etc. to be negotiated as a flat fee. This is determined on a case by case basis. We do not profit from any ancillary fees, including site rep fees, cleaning fees, etc. We simply charge the individual's day rate (or expense) and factor in Splacer's commission on top of said rate/ expense. AREAS OF USE: You will be able to shoot anywhere on the outdoor patio areas of the property, all but excluding the front of the house. If needed, and if available, shooting and using the interiors of the house may be possible for an additional fee to be determined by the owner or site rep. Hair/makeup and styling can be done inside the house (see rules section below for more info). SITE VISITS/ RECENT PICTURES: As we are constantly looking to improve the location and open up more of the house, the pictures shown may not reflect the most up to date improvements and changes. STYLIST/ SET DESIGNERS: For your added convenience, if possible, and/or the space is not booked, stylists/set designers may drop off the day prior to the shoot day. However, please note that we are not to be held liable/responsible for any damages/theft/other of any items left overnight. Inquire with owner/site rep. ahead of time as to possibility and appropriate delivery window. PREP DAYS: Prep days will be charged at half your shoots day rate, and is dependent on availability, scope of work, time needed, owner/site rep. availability, and determined on a case by case basis. We work on a per-project/per budget basis and welcome any and all inquiries. Our goal is to make sure that we can accommodate all of your needs in the utmost professional manner.
