'70s tennis club and desert lodge

This space is a historic tennis club from the 1970s. The property includes 4 tennis courts, clubhouse, pool, hot tub and poolside gazebo on 5.25 acres in the middle of the desert. With no neighbors to the west, there are unobstructed views of the San Ysidro Mountains. The clubhouse is a contemporary take on the traditional tennis clubhouse. It includes a reading room, shop and coffee bar. Men's and women's locker rooms are adjacent to the clubhouse, each with two bathroom stalls and two showers. Our two renovated retro campers may rented by the night for an additional fee. Each sleeps up to 3 people and has a full bed, dinette which converts to a single bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and outdoor fire ring and dining area. For weddings, off-sites, or other events additional guests may camp on the land in tents, safari tents, or camper vans. Located in Borrego Springs, a tiny town uniquely located in the heart of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, the second largest state park in America. It is a scenic 3-hour drive from Los Angeles, 2 hours from San Diego, and about an hour from the Coachella Valley. Borrego Springs is surrounded on all sides by mountains, badlands, and wide open desert space, and as an International Dark Sky community provides clear views of the cosmos.
