The Space
The space is a 1400 sq. ft. (54’x26’, 11.5 ft ceilings) production space located in Gowanus/Park Slope, Brooklyn. It is fully adaptable and modular with all furniture on casters for easy movement and repositioning. It has excellent sight lines and plenty of room for shooting and hosting meetings. It is fully equipped for video/photo shoots, production office, film screenings, shared workspace, professional events, and post-production work. SPACE IS GREAT FOR: • Production film and video shoots – lighting and sound equipment available upon request for additional fee(s). • Documentary interview shoots. • Photo shoots – fashion, design, models, product stills, headshots. • Production office for TV, film, video. • Editing for commercial work, videos, shorts, music videos, commercials, or web. • Private screenings of works-in-progress, cast/crew events, finished films. • Special events for corporate and/or non-profit organizations. • Rehearsals, readings, auditions, production meetings. • Affordable, temporary workspace – quiet, fully equipped, and 24/7 access. • We are NOT doing personal private events (for ex, birthday parties) at this time - only small professional events. • Minimum duration for bookings: We are accepting bookings of five (5) hours or more. SPECIALS AND DISCOUNTS: • We offer DISCOUNT PACKAGES for multi-day rentals - for shoots and small meetings. We are also perfectly set up for those who may be conducting remote classes, workshops and meetings and need a place to instruct from. • Multi-day rentals also include discounts for equipment add-ons. INCLUDED WITH EACH RENTAL: • Gigabit ethernet w/WiFi. • Couch, bookshelves, chairs, benches are on casters, so easily positioned for set decoration or for making more space. • Freight elevator and loading dock on premises with easy load-in/out right on floor. • Printer and fax. • 25000 BTU AC window unit, which serves the space nicely on warmer days • Mini-refrigerator to place food. • Space for a small craft services setup. • Installed track lighting with moveable heads. Color can be changed from daylight to tungsten if need be. • Shared sink and 3-stall bathroom space (on the same floor). Great for photo/video editing or in-production digital backup workflow. • (1) MacMini workstation, fully loaded, (2) full hd monitors. Great for general work, presentations for meetings, or in-production digital backup workflow. • 8000 lumen Epson w/4K enhancement projector positioned for viewing on a 15-foot screen. • 2000 lumen BenQ portable projector for presentations • 15, 12, or 5-foot screens for film/video screenings or presentations. • 5.1 Genelec speaker surround sound system. • Blackmagic Pocket 6K camera package with matte box and follow focus • 24, 50, 85mm Rokinon lens package • Miller Professional Tripod w/fluid head • Sound package: Audio Technica shotgun, boompole, (2) Sennnheiser G3 lavs, plenty of SLR cable, hookup directly into computer, audio interface and protools • Lighting: (3) 1x1 LED panels, (2) Kinoflo 4x2 daylight or tungsten flourescent, (5) clip-on lights • Photo backgrounds – white, black, gray, greenscreen – ready to use.
