The Space

Our 550 sqft studio in Midtown Manhattan is perfect for your next photo or video shoot! The studio is flushed with daylight and comes with lighting equipment included in the price and a wide choice of seamless backgrounds! NATURAL LIGHT: Studio has large windows facing south - so you get a lot of daylight as the sun moves through the sky throughout the afternoon. If you are looking for sunrays, the best time is between 10pm-4pm. FURNITURE: Yes, the red chase is part of our studio! You can use all furniture shown in the pics during your booking. EQP: Comes with all the standard equipment and fixtures you need to have an amazing production with your crew, including 2 X Godox QT400IIM flashlights with different modifiers, and triggers for Nikon, Cannon and Sony. See the complete list below! BACKDROP: We offer 12 different colors of backdrops and charge $25.00 per seamless pull. If you would like another color, please let us know 72 hrs in advance, and we will stock it for you for $80. Check the colors below! - We have security camera at the studio, if you wish to have it turned off please let us know. - To keep the studio affordable for our clients, we don't charge a standard cleaning fee. Therefore, we request our clients to upkeep the space and leave it in the way it was presented to them at the starting of their session. If the space is left unclean or disorganized, we will need to charge you a cleaning fee of $35. - No entry code or uncertainties on how to get in the studio. We will greet you on your arrival to and make sure that you are well settled in the space and have what you need. - We typically respond within an hour, we can send you a video or show you the space if you would like to see it before booking and remain in touch to help answer any last-minute questions. - The building does not have a doorman on Saturdays, Sundays and weekdays after 6pm. During those days/hours you will be responsible for physically letting in members of your team as they arrive. At Young Studios, we are committed to your safety and taking action to ensure we follow all guidelines set forth by the CDC and the World Health Organization. We request that everyone do their individual part in making the studio a safe environment for everyone and follow our safety protocol. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be utilized at all times (masks, gloves, googles or face shields). A mask and gloves should be worn at all times by all persons while on set and while entering and exiting the studio and building, and in elevators. Studios, offices, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned with antimicrobial and antibacterial cleaners before and after every booking. Wash your hands, cover your mouth, keep it clean. Anyone who is sick or has been in contact with a sick person is required to stay at home. Maintain social distancing of no less than 6 feet whenever possible. When sneezing or coughing, cover your face. Avoid physical contact including handshakes & hugging. Please reduce the number of all crew on set. Only essential team members will be allowed. Please assign one person to be responsible for constant wipe downs of surfaces. Only deliveries from verified vendors will be accepted. All deliveries, including food must be picked up in the lobby. If you are sick, stay home and self quarantine. Guidelines will vary based on specific government regulations. We are all in this together!
