Hi there! My name is Harvey and I've had the pleasure of co-owning a special little place for four years and counting now! What began as a boutique that provides sustainable wares has evolved into a hub for some truly beautiful conversations and connections. It's been a great joy to bring these spaces to life and I hope to pay it forward and give others such a platform too :) I love anime, vintage shopping, plantains and Bustelo coffee, hahaha

The Space

Hi there :) The Shoppe is an intimate, cozy, street level space with a bohemian aesthetic that you'll come to love. Nestled right in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant Brooklyn at that, a truly special community with creators, artists, intellects and entrepreneurs all around :) The Shoppe floor is laminated wood - with an assortment of small tables, stools/chairs and a desk - all of which can be easily moved or removed from the shoppe completely if need be :) We have high speed wifi, a wall-mounted (and remote operated) projector screen, a top of the line projector, a large rustic-style easel, two couches, a rolling vintage mannequin that can be used, and several rustic-style bronze colored racks that can also be used. Programs/activities that are ideal for the space include: photo shoots, pop-ups shops, film/TV/promotional production, art showcases, panel discussions, literary readings, and intimate gatherings/talks.

Hi! The safety and well being of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to the overall wellbeing of our guests and have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We have updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of the COVID-19 spread on our guests and employees. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: Cleaning We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: Our staff is following the cleaning and hygiene guidance recommended by the CDC We are thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant We are providing hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes to our guests We provide essential amenities such as hand soap, paper towels, and tissues, etc. We ventilate the space before cleaning and it was used Hygiene While our space is in use we ask to please follow these hygiene guidelines: Wash your hands frequently and properly Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer regularly Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues If You Are Sick For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days.
