SHELL'S LOFT is a boutique daylight studio for film productions and photo shoots, located in the heart of Red Hook, Brooklyn. FEATURES • 6000 SQ FT freestanding A-frame loft building • 6000 SQ FT of private parking/outdoor space, ideal for film and photo shoots • The space is quiet and ideal for sound recording • Ground level load in and out with large roll up doors that lead directly into the space from our private parking lot • Complete or partial build out capabilities • 2 separate talent holding/ private HMU rooms • Plenty of room for video village or just extra work space for social distancing • 3 private bathrooms • Able to accommodate a wide range of shooting styles • Located at the entrance of the Red Hook neighborhood, near the Tesla showroom Our space comes styled with lounge furnishings and plants. These are all subject to change throughout each season, so **please inquire about current furnishings.** Note: the last few photos in our listing are examples of the space styled with props from our prop house. PROPS We have a huge on-site Prop House with hundreds of items available to rent, including: • Furniture • Accent pieces • Plants ranging from small to enormous • Cleared artwork Once you book the space you can rent items directly through our prop catalog—inquire when you contact us. See listing photos for a preview of just a handful of our selection. EQUIPMENT We've partnered with our neighboring EQ rental company (just a 5-minute walk from us) to provide you with all of your production, lighting, grip, and electric needs to make sure your shoot goes as smoothly as possible. Please inquire when booking. PRODUCTION SUPPLIES The space comes with the following: • 3 rolling racks with hangers • 3 vanities • 5 six-foot folding tables • 2 eight-foot rolling tables with chairs • Outdoor table and seating area • Small handheld steamer available upon request We host shoots up to 200 people. Note: shoots above 45 people require a custom quote - please share crew size, including talent when messaging us.
