The home is steps away from the heart of Palm Springs. Enter the turquoise front gate and fall into a completely private, colorful dream world. The stone courtyard is perfect for all of your vacation needs. Cool off in the gorgeous blue tiled pool, enjoy a cocktail under the thatched palm leaves of the palapa, grill dinners outside with the propane BBQ, lounge with a book in the fabulous yellow cabana chairs while enjoying dramatic views of Mt. San Jacinto. We even provide yoga mats if you’re in the mood for some poolside downward dog! Inside, the home is equally unique. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a comfortable living area with vaulted and beamed ceilings. Each room is painted to match the originality and imagination of the rest of the house. The previous owners designed the rooms based on international works of art, many of which still hang in the home. Our personal favorite room in the house is the dining room which features multi-colored hardwood floors and walls, a stained glass window based on a painting that hangs in the room, and gorgeous French doors that open onto the pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and a wide variety of cooking supplies. Palm Springs’ best bars and restaurants are an easy walk and very short drive. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can use the house’s yellow bicycle-built-for-two! Head on over to Melvyn’s for martinis, The Tonga Hut for a pupu platter, or The Ace to eat and drink with the hip kids, then return to your very own private, heavenly cottage. We’d love to have you.
