The Space
This is the location of a contemporary surfboard and apparel design company based in Brooklyn. This space is used as a showroom for their surfboard collection and menswear line. Adjacent to the showroom is a shaping bay, where you can watch surfboards being made through a window dividing the two rooms. The space is located on an industrial street bordering Williamsburg. The furnishings, which have been kept minimal, are not fixed to the floor and may be rearranged or removed to accommodate however the space is used.
