This exposed brick studio with park views is situated in the Lower East Side/Chinatown and is in a charming boutique building that was formerly home and recording studio to the Beastie Boys in their early career. Our 1,150 square foot studio features exposed brick on three walls, wooden beams across the ceiling, and windows flooding the space with natural light and fresh air. The studio overlooks Sara Roosevelt Park, is a column-free open layout and has hardwood floors and a pantry area. Elevator building. Temperature controlled HVAC. This space is ideal for film/photo shoots, digital content creation and art/photography exhibits. Many public and charter schools are in the neighborhood and this would be great for education/learning pods as well. If additional space is required, there are other studios on the floor that can be rented for check-in, breakout or storage areas. We are located on Chrystie Street (between Canal and Hester), directly across from a park. It's a short 2-minute walk from the Grand Street B/D express trains and half a block from Canal Street which has access to numerous subway lines including J/Z/6/N/R/Q/W/F. Easy access via the Manhattan Bridge to/from Brooklyn. Chrystie Street has a bike path with several Citibike stations nearby.
