Historic Art Deco Theatre
Beverly HillsHosted by Jonathan
The Space
We are a historic 1900 seat art deco theater. Not really a party vibe, more suited for business conferences, lectures, classes, film production. The venue is busy with concerts and such, but we will do our best to work around our pre-existing schedule to make your event happen. We prefer to rent the spaces within the theater individually and will negotiate those rates specifically on your needs. Our theater has been both a significant cultural and architectural landmark for Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. It was originally designed with 2500 seats (now 1900) by prolific theatre architect S. Charles Lee to be 20th Century Fox's film presentation house, which even included a stage for Vaudeville acts before films. Over its storied 85 year history, the theatre has been the site of numerous studio premieres and exclusive first-run film engagements (old stomping grounds of Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall). After undergoing several renovations upgrading its live venue capabilities, it continues to be a top tier stage for concerts, comedy specials, touring Broadway shows, community intercultural events, and as a location for film/television shoots (ie Glee's season 1 finale).
