Originally Jilly's Canteen, and owned by friend of Frank Sinatra, Jilly Rizzo, Samovar was the go to hot spot for Sinatra and The Rat Pack. In 1986, Roman Kaplan acquired the property and was joined in 1987 by Legendary dancer Mikhael Baryshnikov and Nobel Award Winning poet Joseph Brodsky. This hotspot has remained a celebrity hangout over the years. We've been lucky enough to feature impromptu shows by Liza Minelli and others. Host to many Concerts, shows, and New York's most lavish parties.

The Space

You'll love this space because of the intimate atmosphere. The art work scattered all over the walls will certainly catch your attention. The private room itself will make you feel comfortable as you sit back and in one of our victorian style seats and enjoy a best selling infused vodka martini from our bar. We offer a 9-foot projector, state of the art sound system, and excellent service.
