We’re a group of Temescal residents with deep roots in our neighborhood. We own homes here. We’ve raised kids (and dogs and cats) here. A number of us work here. One year, a bunch of us got to talking at a block party. What if we pooled our resources to buy the blighted building down the block and bring it back to life? So that’s what we did. And after more than a year of restorations, we decided to turn this beautiful building into a coworking space — a place for others to do their best work, meet and collaborate, and provide space for celebrations and gatherings.

The Space

This work space is the result of a major restoration of a 1928 brick and timber warehouse in the heart of the Temescal neighborhood of Oakland, Ca. We love our industrial chic vibe and think you will, too! FEATURES • This meeting space seats up to 14 people. Currently configured as a single large conference table, there is an option for separating the table into 4 individual tables for a classroom type setup. Room can accommodate up to 25 people. • Floor to ceiling glass walls with plenty of natural light • Located off the main hall, which is available for larger events such as parties, presentations, film shoots, and other events. We are flexible and offer a variety of options for space depending on the number of people and type of event that you are looking for. We're also steps away from many nearby restaurants and amenities, including local favorites Burma Superstar, Bakesale Betty and The Alley. LOCATION / TRANSPORTATION • Three blocks from MacArthur BART station • Steps away from AC Transit • Street parking, usually within 1-2 blocks of our space • Indoor bike racks • Buzz front door upon arrival and a staff member will let you in
