The Space

This large open-concept loft space is the home of BSAF Art Gallery. It is less than a 10 minute walk from Bryant Park, Times Square, and Penn Station. The total rental space is 3,800 square feet, making it the perfect space for art exhibitions, fashion shows, photo shoots, arts and music events, private parties, product release events, corporate gatherings, workshops, and more. Accessed by elevator, the space is located on the 14th floor of the historic art deco Nelson Building, constructed in 1931 as the then-tallest skyscraper in the Garment District. The space sports large glass windows that allow plenty of natural light to shine through during the daytime and offer a pleasant view of the Garment District. The interior of the space has blank white walls, wood floors and is equipped with a professional art installation system and gallery lighting. In the back, there is a dual-stall restroom and prep kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator and microwave. Outside food and beverage catering (including alcohol) is allowed in the space. Live music is also permitted. Included in the space: -Private office room -Coat closet -Kitchen with full-sized refrigerator -Large sectional couch (removable) -50+ chairs -2 medium sized tables and one large banquet table (removable) -3 passenger elevators and 1 cargo elevator -1 large speaker with bluetooth connectivity -1 wireless Sennheiser microphone with bluetooth connectivity + 1 wired microphone -1 small film projector -Many electrical outlets throughout + two 6-ft. extension cords -Large windows throughout -Professional art installation system -Gallery lighting Rates: *Pricing is flexible - send us an inquiry!* Hourly (3 hour minimum): Monday - Thursday: $300/hr Friday & Saturday: $400/hr Sunday: $350/hr Daily (12 hours): Monday-Thursday: $3000 Friday & Saturday: $4000 Sunday: $3500 Required Fees: Cleaning - $250 Booking Fee - 50% down deposit is required to reserve your date. Artwork Installation - custom artwork installation is available at an additional charge. *Discounts for nonprofit organizations, art/fashion companies, exhibitors, and students are available upon request*
