The Space

Located in the heart of Melville, New York, Our studio is 1 hr 10 min away from Manhattan, 34 min from JFK and 36 min from LaGuardia. Formerly CBS/WLNY newsroom our space features a soundproofed production area, pre-lit cyclorama, green screen room, news deck, hard scenery, background walls, props department & full lighting grid. Whether you are a production team that needs a turnkey secure location, a still photographer needing a bit more elbow room or a producer with your own show wanting to increase the quality of the production and distribution, our facility is a one stop shop for all of that. Features and amenities: - Overall space is 3,200 sq ft; the studio is 1,600 sq ft; the green room is 729 sq ft; the guest room is 80 sq ft; the podcasting room is 225 sq ft. - Size of Cyc Appox 16 feet tall. 18 feet by 20 feet. Green screen is 25 feet long. - The space is soundproof. The studio is surrounded by 4 inside walls with additional sound proofing measures. - Equipment can be loading through the double doors at street level - The studio is equipped with - 3 phase electrical panel and grid. Each circuit breaker works a different light and a dimmer pack can be installed if required. - Circuit breaker is accessible. - Full heating and Central Air with New CV-5 Covid Filtration system installed. - Wifi is provided. Fiber speed with 1000 up and 1000 down. - Green Room lounge - Video Control Room - Two Editing rooms - Dressing/Makeup room - Podcast Studio - Full Kitchen Area - Bathrooms - Parking space for up to 10 cars. - Additional On-Site Equipment Rental *The Studio is a Member of the New York State Film Production Tax Program.

Download guidelines Common areas have 6-foot (2-metre) markers on floors Narrow passages have arrows for bi-directional traffic Enhanced cleaning measures: The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking: Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space. Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances. Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable. Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
