The Space

Brand new gorgeous 4500 SQFT photography studio with 12 standing sets for photo and video productions - 35FT wide sky backdrop painted cyc- The space is a Post Modern 80's / 90's Barbie Inspired Dream House built to be shot in Studio- All sets are original, unique and modular. Shoot as is, or tweak and move things around to fit your taste. Unlimited creative potential Logistics The layout of the space is all on the ground level and has a main entrance that is big enough to accommodate vehicles as well as any other oversized materials that may need to be brought in for production purposes- Within the space you will find 12 uniquely designed post modern inspired standing sets - 2 refinished bathrooms and a 15ft X 20ft Glam room with Make Up Set up- There is also a 35ft wide 14ft high Cyc painted with a cloud mural that is available for use with an additional fee for the floor to be painted after use- Tables/chairs will need to be brought in as the space is purely an open space with the exception of an 8ft long make up counter and 4ft x 8 ft make up mirror in the glam room- the space can be configured however works best for productions- - Street access for easy load-in / out - Ample street parking - We have 4 skylights on our property, we generally have them covered 100% of the time. However, due to Mother Nature we cannot control when or if they will be blown off. Please bring flags and other production equipment to block light from the inside as we do not have roof access through our unit and cannot guarantee access to the roof. - We have large front doors made of glass that filters in a lot of light. If you need those doors covered, please bring what you need to cover them as we do not have anything for production on hand. -We are located in a warehouse. We do NOT have central heating. Please bring what you need to keep warm during fall / winter months. - The listed cleaning fee is the site rep fee. The site rep fee could increase based off number of people / productions over 10 hours. - NO OTHER ROOMS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING. Special rates associated with booking the space: PRICING LISTED for 10 person still photography. Inquire with host for 10+ or video/commercial shoots. Overtime will be billed in one hour increments. The space must be vacated and all items brought into the space must be removed by the end time of your booking reservation. Overtime will be billed in one hour increments at a rate of 1.5 times our stated hourly rate for the first two hours and then 2 times the hourly rate for each hour after that . Neighborhood details Downtown L.A.'s Arts District has become one of the artsiest spots in the city of angels. Home to an urban artists' colony in the '70s, the neighborhood has in recent years re-emerged as a hub for all kinds of creatives, breweries, galleries, restaurants, retail shops, salons, and more. *Using this studio may subject you to safety issues- by booking the space you are acknowledging that you are using this studio at your own risk.
