The Space

****The $79/hr rate is specifically for smaller productions containing 5 people total. Tiered rates as follows: 1-5 ppl: 79/hr 6-10 ppl: 99/hr 11-15 ppl: 119/hr 16-25 ppl: 139/hr All bookings have an additional required $100 clean/disinfect fee regardless of crew size. Amount of people is crew/talent total. Partial day bookings are accepted on a last minute, 2 days out basis. Securing a date in advance requires a full day 8+ hrs. We require 2hrs in between all bookings to properly clean/disinfect. We accept bookings 24hrs a day, 7 days a week but any booking past 7pm requires an off-hours, virtual studio manager for an additional $40/hr. *** We made a studio that we'd rent out ourselves and think you’ll love it too. We’re located in the best part of Eagle Rock. It’s private. There’s plenty of parking, and killer food all around. Features: 16x19, 2 wall prelit-rgb cyc on one side and textured cinderblock warehouse vibe on the other, 1250 Sq ft main space, 300 Sq ft. Production Office, 300 Sq ft. Outdoor area, Multi-Colored Seamless Backdrops, Amazing Sound System, In-House Production Services Available, Easy Load-in/out, Freshly painted cyc., and Friendly, helpful studio managers. Basic grip equipment will be provided with each rental. We have a wide array of house gear for rent at very reasonable rates and will provide free delivery for any additional gear you may need. We can also offer full production services.

Thanks!***** ***SPACE FEATURES*** * Pre-lit, App Controlled RGB Cyclorama * 1,850 ft² total space * 1,250 ft² main space * 300 ft² production office - Only available for larger shoots. * 300 ft² outdoor area * 16x19 2 wall Cyclorama on one side and textured cinderblock warehouse vibe on the other. * Multi-Colored Seamless Backdrops * DJ Level Sound System * In-House Production Services Available. * Easy Load-in/out * Friendly, helpful remote studio managers. * Natural light and blackout capable. * A/C/Heat ***A NOTE ABOUT SCHEDULING*** We require 2hrs in between every booking to property clean and disinfect for everyone's safety. Peerspace's calendar does not reflect this, so you must account for it manually. If you see a partial day booking on the calendar, please add 2hrs to that on either end when figuring your request time. ***A NOTE ABOUT OUR COVID PRACTICES*** We are a 100% contactless studio. We have hands free hand sanitizers all around and the studio is cleaned/disinfected after EVERY booking. *** A NOTE ABOUT MINIMUM HOURS *** Our 4hr minimum is on a last minute, per availability basis. Hit us up 48hrs beforehand. If it's available, it's all yours. If you need a specific date in the future and are wanting to secure the space in advance at the minimum 89/hr, 1-5ppl rate, we require a minimum 8hr booking to hold the date. Amount of hours can adjust respectively depending on hourly rate. It's a minimum rate thing, not an "hours" thing. Example: If you only need 4hrs but have to have a specific date 3 weeks from now, you must book at least 8hrs anyway. ***NEWLY INCLUDED*** -Pre-lit with Quasar RGB lights controlled via Luminaire App on an iPad. -Fresh Cyc floor for every shoot. -10 Sandbags, 12 stands (C-stand, rollers), 2 Apple Box Families -Seamless colored Backdrops - Are free to use if only pulled down to the floor. If they’re pulled out and walked on, it’s $25 per “tear”. It’s based on honor system so we ask that client tear the seamless and let us know what they’ve used We’ll charge accordingly after the booking. ***HOURS*** Available 7-days a week | 24-hours. Off hours (7pm-6am) will incur an additional studio manager fee of $40/hr if you are a first time client. Returning clients who know the space may have this fee waived. ***RATES*** This is a special discounted listing specifically for non-commercial crews under 5 people. 1-5 people. $89/hr per availability and accepted on a last minute basis. 2 days out. 6-10 people. $109/hr 11-15 people. $129hr 16-20 people. $149/hr 20+ people $ case by case. ***PLAN ACCORDINGLY*** Studio time is from first arrival to taillights. 1.5 OT kicks in regardless of hours, so please plan accordingly. For example if you book 4 hours, and it goes 5 hours, that 5th hour will be time and a half. We also reserve the right to book someone else after you, so it's better to book more time than you need than less. ***ADDITIONAL RENTALS*** Basic grip equipment will be provided with each rental. We have a wide array of gear both on and off property for rent at very reasonable rates and will provide free delivery for any additional gear you may need. Additional COI will be required depending on type of rentals. ADDITIONAL COSTS - If your crew grows between the booking and shoot date, so will our rate. - ALL OT is 1.5. Please plan accordingly. - Don't use glitter at all. If you do use glitter, confetti, powder, food, or any other unusual, hard to clean substance without proper planning with an art department, pre-notification, and approval in writing, you will be billed an additional $250 cleaning fee plus the extra studio time it takes to clean at OT rates. CLEANING The studio is properly cleaned and disinfected in-between every booking. However, clients are expected to return the studio to how they found it when they arrive. Any unusual, hard to clean messes will incur additional fees. - - - FAQ's Insurance required? Liability included with Peerspace. Additional Insurance required to rent gear. What are the parking and load-in / loud out options on site like? Easy Parking and Load-in right out front Ground floor load-in. 4-5 cars tandem. Deposit required? Depends. Drones allowed? Yes Trailers allowed? Yes. we have a 50 Amp outlet to plug in an RV. Pets allowed? Yes, but they must be walked off-site and taken care of. Child-talent allowed? Yes Generator allowed? Yes Furniture/wall art movement allowed? Yes with permission. Paintings must be moved for you. Wifi speed? 40 up/600 down Mobile/cellular network reception? Yes. Noise restrictions? Depends on the type of noise. Fine till midnight on Fri/Sat. 10pm Weekdays. Fireplace/fire pit usage? No. Ground floor or elevator/stair access? Ground Floor Can you record clean dialogue? Yes. What is noise in the surrounding area like? Quiet to normal but not soundproofed. How many outlets are available? Where are they? 6, 20 amp circuits in the main room. 2 in production office, How many bathrooms do you have? 1 Is there dedicated space available for hair & makeup? Yes Square Footage? 1,250 Main Shoot Space. 300 Production Office/Glam Room. 300 fenced in patio area. What is the natural light like (exposure, # of windows)? Great natural light. 4, 4x5 windows, huge windowed French doors, 2 skylights. All Blackout capable. Are all areas of the space accessible for production purposes (including the exterior)? Yes. What are the power capabilities like in the space? 200 amps. 20 Amp circuits. Easy Parking Will there be an on-site manager present during the booking? Not during COVID. Everything is smart-lock and virtual. Studio manager is virtually available and can come down in an emergency. $40/hr Studio manager is required for off-hour bookings. What are the parking and load-in / loud out options on site? 6 normal size cars can park right outside 15 ft from the stage. Very easy load-in. Non-restricted street parking and very cheap public parking nearby.
