Step back in time to the 1800’s when you arrive at Prospector Ranch. Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains, we have ten beautiful acres with large majestic oaks trees. Many authentic western buildings including a saloon. The recently remodeled house sits on top of a hill, has stunning views and a modern large kitchen. Enjoy the ranch animals which include 3 ponies and our 2 baby goats. We are within the 30 mile radius of Los Angeles. We look forward to sharing our ranch with you!

The Space

A stunning 10 acre, 1800's themed mountain ranch with panoramic views, saloon, merchantile exchange building, outdoor dining area, mineshaft, horse corrals, and western relics sprinkled throughout the property that are perfect for photography and filming. Located on the property as well is a gorgeous 3 bedroom main house, also available to rent. Located just minutes off the 101 freeway in Ventura County.

The safety and well being of our guests is our top priority. We are committed to the overall well-being of our guests and have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We have updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of the COVID-19 spread on our guests and employees. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: Cleaning We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: Our staff is following the cleaning and hygiene guidance recommended by the CDC We are thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant We use detergent to remove dirt, grease, dust, and germs. Once the surface is clean, we spray with a disinfectant. We ventilate the space before cleaning and it was used We are disinfecting our space using Lysol Hygiene: While our space is in use we ask to please follow these hygiene guidelines: Wash your hands frequently and properly Use your arm or sleeve when coughing or sneezing, and use hand sanitizer regularly Dispose of tissues immediately and wash hands or use sanitizer any time you have used tissues If You Are Sick: For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days. Social distancing: We are strongly encouraging our guests to keep social distancing while meeting at our space and will not allow bookings for a large number of participants.

 Minimum hours:  5
Weekends Fri-Sat-Sun are an extra $150 per hour. Any number of people about 30 is an extra $100 per hour regardless of the day of week. There is also a cleaning Fee of $150. A Site Rep is required and they are $40 per hour.
