We are the world's first innovation hub focused on the theme of open government - promoting transparency, accountability and civic engagement worldwide. We also run near-daily events (from networking to educational and professional development sessions) that help members build skills, connect, learn and work together, increasing their individual and shared social impact. We expanded this Spring and are now welcoming new members and are excited to have you visit our brand new, world-class space! Our 20,000 sq. ft dynamic meeting place in the heart of downtown DC offers 178 desks, 35 collaboration spaces (meeting rooms equipped with new AV and whiteboards), all height-adjustable desks, a Media Lab, Wellness Room, and two outdoor spaces!

The Space

Thanks for booking our private terrace & cafe area! Our private terrace & cafe area offers comfort for working and for dining; featured in the cafe's open kitchen is an espresso maker, coffee maker, microwaves, fridges, and sink and dishwasher for all food and beverage-related needs. Additionally, there is an assortment of boardgames available for use. The terrace offers plenty of natural lighting and fresh air, and a large umbrella to stay cool with. Reminder: Please be mindful of your reservation times and always wrap up a few minutes before your reservation ends to allow time to straighten up. Please Kindly wipe down all surfaces after your use; much appreciated!

Health and SafetyHealth & Safety Policy

The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our top priority, so we have taken additional measures to ensure the cleanliness of our space. We have updated and developed cleaning and safety policies to help limit the impact of the COVID-19 spread on our guests and employees. We refer to the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO) and CDC Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting (CDC) to implement the following: 1. Vaccine Mandate We are requiring all guests to provide proof of vaccination upon arrival; if proof cannot be provided, access to our spaces will not be provided. 2. Cleaning We are implementing enhanced cleaning procedures in our space to protect our guests. These include: Thoroughly cleaning our space and all shared surfaces regularly, before and after each booking, with disinfectant, as well as providing hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes to our guests. 3. Air Quality Each of our spaces offered contain air purifiers; by reducing potential impurities and odors in the air, we ensure our rooms are continuously fresh and clean. 4. If You Are Sick For everyone's safety, we are asking guests who are displaying even mild flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, and cold to stay home. Please notify us if you or one of your team members or guests are diagnosed with COVID-19 and have used our space or facilities in the past 30 days.
